Surprised that Marty would have a considerable back ended deal for next season taking into account that he is still apparently officially contracted until 2020 . Hasn 't really seemed to have his heart completely in it in his last few outings which is of course disappointing and verging on the unprofessional . Manly are under no obligation to release him , especially with Lane "s exit , not too sure where a suitable substitute is available also . Maybe things will settle down once a new head coach is soon appointed . Just hope that he can show a bit of regard to his club tomorrow and put in an expected decent and full on effort against the Broncos tomorrow .

The media were adamant Watmough was on 900k at the end of his tenure with us. When the NRL accidentally faxed his contract to me, I can assure you it was VASTLY lower, so don't believe any of the B.S. anyone tells you.

And the people claiming Chocs salary was what they said we're pretty high profile types.

And I mean he took nowhere NEAR that amount. In fact, the contract I saw was an amended contract to his existing one, reducing his income to allow other team mates to remain at Manly, as the purpose of the amendment was stated.

To hear these values is laughable to me.

Also many things make a contract, including allowances (vehicle, education, long Serving player, etc).

BUT, I'm sure everyone will tell you they know as fact just like Watmough, and just like Watmough 's dollars , I'll know it's complete bull**** made up by the gossip hounds, rumour mongers, and conspiracy theorists.

Same as Walker, and Taupau leaving. That's why I cut and paste direct quotes from Robinson saying there is no way in hell Taupau will be going to the Chooks. I also heard that Parra, with Ferguson heading there, and Pauli, that they are pretty full, and will be looking for ways to streamline their roster now by not signing quite a few.

Apart from the U.K., I'd think you'd find while many teams would love a Taupau and Walker type, not only are they both contracted and wanted by Manly (they want to remain, despite our OWN fans name calling them prima donnas for no good reason) ,and despite them denying they want out , the rest of the league can't afford them at whatever prices they are given the point in the year it is with most signings completed apart from the second tier minimum contract types.

30+ tackles 150+ meters and 11 tackle breaks in his last game just goes to show how he has no heart, is totally unprofessional and his mind is elsewhere. Shame Marty, shame.

Our one and only game plan from Tuberculosis this year was second phase ball from Kapow and AFB which hopefully gave DCE a shot against an unset defensive line. When they were off the field we had very little. We need to replace Lane as a middle forward too, so can ill afford to lose Kapow on top of that. Would love a good starting prop so we could put one of Marty or Addin on the bench to spread their impact on the game.

It’s why I’ve been posting that we’ll need two forwards and two wingers ( one of which may be Anderson).

We need to replace Shady ( Penny if you prefer) and I’d say Kapow as well.
