This game concerns me because we played poorly and beat the Tigers last time and the players may not get themselves into the right mind set. Whilst we were better last week we lack week to week consistency. If the tigers are on its going to be a tough game.

Paseka might still have a niggling injury . Otherwise would think that he should be rated ahead of Keppie , Marty and even Sipley . Maybe still some conjecture however whether he is more suited to starting or coming on as an impact player . Would be more inclined to start with Schuster ahead of Davey , not just for his ability to make things happen but also for match fitness . A bit of stability usually offered from Davey but the Shu with his talent level offering more one would think starting . Hopefully Harper can keep his improvement trend going .

I'm not worried about complacency, maybe if we were leading the comp!
Besides which, the forwards drove the result last week and, despite the loss of Lawton, there is selection pressure and competition now, with Schu out of the starting side and Paseka and Bully not even in the 17.

A fast start by us should see the floodgates open wide, if they get the jump on us it'll be close. But in all honesty they are ripe for the picking.

Probably already been said but it's just our luck they sacked Madge the week we're playing the Tigers! Wonder how the game will go now...they may feel guilty and come out firing or under Kimmorley, they maybe clueless, who knows...

I‘d say Madge leaving will be a huge relief to the players and Noddy will be a far better bloke to play under, wish they had of done it after our game, can see the players looking forward to a fresh start, playing to impress and working that bit harder.
Oh well, just means we’ll have to earn the victory a little more, another thing, the Tig’s have been good with is their set completions, we need to be disciplined and limit their opportunities, they’ve named a strong side, won’t be an easy game I’d say, we win, but will need our pack to turn up and repeat their effort from last week.

Isn't Hastings a massive Madge supporter and the reason why he went to the tigers? It'll be interesting to see whether he puts in this game and whether the rest of the team will play for noddy whom I don't rate at all. We'll need another big win to improve our for and against.
