The one good thing about all these injuries is that it's let us unearth some great players in Kelepi Tanginoa, Shaun Lane and Taniela Paseka. Our pack is looking good even with our depth stretched to its max

does anyone else agree Payen Hass sounds like " pain in the arse " when the commentary is calling his name ?

His injuries are surely a pain in the arse for the coach ...

It would be a Payen in the Hass if he wasn’t a Blue! I think he’ll play for NSW in the next couple of years if he’s injury free

Can’t take a trick can we!!

He'll be missed. He was just starting to hit his straps. If we can ride out the storm over the next 2-3 weeks will be almost back to full squad. If we can mount the storm this week it will be even better.

Probably does not help in recent seasons when 105 KG to 110 KG plus forwards or even some backs now drive in low or tackle low on attacking players that can then be more vulnerable to lower leg injuries with that additional weight and strength pressing down or exerted . [ and i am not talking about the cannon ball tackle ] And N R L players are not going to be any lighter in weight as things are now and the trend of the game

I looked at that list and thought not bad, we get some important players made available in the next couple of weeks.

With Hodgko all but confirmed, players coming back and what looks like a team back on the same page that our luck might be starting to turn. Too slowly but at least in a positive direction 🙂

I think we are definitely capable of going on a run of sorts... then sneaking into the eight at the back end of the season... injuries permitting of course. We are a very dangerous side when we click, and here’s to hoping we knock over the Storm.

No Scumeron Smith, no Jessica Bromwich, no Timofy Glasby, no curtis scott. Now is a ideal time to destroy the Smelbournites. I like our chances this week.

Great side but I'd play Lane off the bench and let Siro keep his spot in the starting 13. He adds another dimension on the right hand side with his kicking game and has some good skills as a distributor. Also one of the few decoys that runs right through the line and doesn't stop half way. Lane adds a lot as a running forward though and his size allows him to play it well at prop too.

Also how good is that forward pack? Only Marty an Thommo were signed up as known guns. Every other forward in that pack has stepped up under Baz. AFB in particular has gone to another level. Well done to the coaching team!

Given Hodko has been photographed in sea eagles training gear at Narrabeen this morning I think it is safe to say he is confirmed.
