Salary Cap Witch Hunt. **Appeal unsuccessful**

Weren't these "SALARY CAP INVESTIGATIONS!!!!!!!!!" not even about the current crop of players we have today. So, not only is it useless, but it'd be near impossible to prove or disprove, once again damaging the name and the past of our club

Really this is just a bull****, pointless excercise of which will keep making manly seem guilty until we quietly get exonerated

Notice Sloth gives this a run again in today's telecrap.

Investigators have finished investigating and will now start interviewing witnesses....

How can an investigation be "finished" if they haven't interviewed witnesses, who are integral to any investigation?
The Slosh is just confused :drunk:

Interviews were held and that is how the Police heard from 'a former business partner of Hayson' regarding Fiz's alleged TPA 😎

Police then unlawfully, as they can not share information gained during interviews, leaked the Salary Cap info to theNRL, who in turn allegedly leaked it to smh 😡

I'd say those interviews were to do with the Match Fixing Strike Force Nuralda investigation. Now they are interviewing regarding the Salary Cap breaches.
Don't think the NRL has done any interviews yet. Only the Police.

Does anyone have any info on this? (@Snake?) It appears the club has gone rather quiet? That doesn't fill me with great confidence.
Read the 'NRL Descends on Manly HQ' article from a few months back

Interviews and hard drives galore 😛

I get the impression that it will fall on deaf ears just the same as the match fixing. It's also accusation from years ago so I cannot imagine a points penalty being applied...if we are cap compliant now (which I am certain we are), then the NRL will not be able to justify starting us 12 points behind the 8 ball for season 2018 for example.

The worst case scenario is that the guilty parties are banned from administrating in the NRL. We've seen how criminal prosecution is near impossible as well...look at Brian Waldron for example. If he can escape fraud charges after the Storm saga...well...

We are about to have a new CEO named, Bozo jumped on board only two years ago, ditto Barrett...it seems that any guilty parties would have already left the building anyway. Penn's are way too smart to have anything to do with that sort of nonsense as well...so I think we'll be fine.

If they had any evidence from the forensic accountants they have no need for interviews. Evidence does not require testimony. They are going to have one last turn on the waterboards and then slink off. Fair dinkum.

Buzz s latest snippet on this is just another “old girl in a new frock “ ie same old story with a slightly different spin
This was years ago few are left if there ever was any issue so what is the piont other than more vindictive from old penis head .Greenburg do the right thing for once and call and end to this farce

I hear whispers the NSW Police want to talk to the Lurker about his alleged ‘Kinko the Clown’ persona.

He is suspected of donning the clown suit in the vicinity of infants’ schools across the southwestern suburbs.

Plus the persistent rumours surrounding the exact nature of his relationship with his pet Borzoi.
