If Ben is ready to play NRL then why was he playing Jersey Flegg instead of NSW Cup earlier this year? Just seems a bit odd for a forward to jump directly to NRL from Flegg.

If he'll be playing as a centre, then that makes more sense.

there's no way Burbo will jump the centres queue (Suli, Tippytoes, Funa) to replace Scorpio. It's more likely he will replace Siro on the bench

Don't know about @ Scorpio...but I would be astonished.

I doubt Ben is anywhere near ready for FG.

I think that’s the general perception, but the problem is we don’t have any other forwards available. So if Siro is out then Des has no choice.

Yes.

Parker is playing well and the only way he is getting dropped at the moment is if he is injured.

And even if he was injured... I cannot see Des giving 19-year old Ben a starting jumper ahead of Tuipulotu, Funa or Suli.

So if he gets his debut this weekend he will probably be playing a few minutes off the bench as a forward out of necessity.

I’m just stirring. The nrl physio gets my goat because he makes it sound like he is in the know about each player’s actual injury, when in reality he hears “groin injury” (for example) and then makes a general statement about groin injuries. I guarantee you club physios aren’t sharing patient details with this bloke on twitter.

Even if Ben makes th bench.. it's likely he won't get many minutes anyway. No harm in giving him a taste. 10 minutes here or there. Suli I imagine will play for Parker and Ben t gets the vacant spot on the bench. Unless Siro is out.
