Manly were able to actually stay with the Dragons for a good part of their clash last season until the ' strange and negative 6 th tackle kick for touch tactic " put Manly on the back foot again and the common resulting submissive loss as things used to pan out then . Manly have undoubtedly a more consistent and competitive structure this season , a few things going against them tomorrow and the hodoo , voodoo factor to contend with but are entitled to go into the game with some reasonable degree of confidence . Dragons are a good side but must be missing Debelin and Widdop "s usual solid input . Agree if Manly can get a win tomorrow with Tom , A F B and Walker out of the side , things are really on the up and up for them .

If ever a team was set up for a bit of complacency this week it's the Dragons.. been virtually unbeatable by us for ages, playing at home, AFB, Turbo out, Mary another contract extension etc. I think the first 20 mins will make us or break us tbh. We need to start like men possessed, get some points on them early, take the crowd out of it and then grind down and suffocate the bastards for the full 80 mins. Drags have a heap of strike players so field possession will be huge too. Definately winnable for us. Go Manly

He is the guy we have to nullify along with Frizzel.

We were close to signing him too when he left the Cows. Wish we had of.

Their 2rf is strong along with Graham and Vaughan. Decent halves and a very strong 3/4 ... this will be a decent test. Manly by 2.

He is not at the elite level as Turbo but he is no myth either . If you allow him room to move he will cause you damage with his speed .

the Dragoons voodoo goes back way over a decade now especially back to the first few finals under Da$$ler.

Manly have not won in Wollongong since 2003.....when Peter not so Sharp was the coach. Des as coach of Manly has never won there, though he did win there with the Dogs in 2012.

Its time for that to change.
