So you are saying that during our golden times our members were at the same level? So it is almost like on field success is not an indication of membership growth?

This is not about converting people into fans it about converting existing fans, the same people who post on here and other forums / pages into fans.

If it is indeed a "manly social" issue it can be addressed via smart marketing and compelling membership. Not for everyone but it can be done with the proper investment....which is where this whole conversation started.

I will stop posting after this one as it is clear this is going nowhere as you can not see the contradictions in what you write.

What I was saying is that you do not seem to understand is I am not being critical of our great club for being the reason for our low membership numbers but our overall passionless fans are

The logic of Bombarding posts ?
Every one has a Passion on here about bombarding us with posts like you do on the Manly Juniors which I look at in a positive light

I post on my passion and that is for our club to grow and club membership is a great way yo do this
I see how positive posts about our club pisses you off but when some one posts negative posts about our owners you are no where to be seen
That is who you are and we are all different and balance is what makes great forums

But what the hell would I know........I've only spent over 2 decades in senior marketing management, including APAC/regional and global roles, including advising the CEO of a 1Bn USD organization. Business growth drivers / inhibitors............never heard of 'em.

Your passion (and ability to generate a huge supply of memes), are quite evident. If all the folk from Palm Beach to the Spit Bridge shared your enthusiasm, MWRLFC would never lack for support.

Please ease up though, on your fellow Manly supporters. We all love the club in our own ways, and this diversity (and don't we all love diversity.............yes........we do) is what makes us great as supporters.

I know you're not here to win friends but coming on a fan forum and posting about how Manly fans are passionless is ridiculous. We are all passionate in our own way or we wouldn't be here and the majority of us are members already. I wish that the AMI (Australian Marketing Institute (AMI) - the largest network for professional marketers in Australia ) or in the UK, the CIM (Be a Chartered Marketer | CIM ) had more profile and clout, and then the story would get out.

Let me explain my self as you have the wrong impression

I love my fellow Manly supporters and in my posts I praise all the loyal club members for their great effort and contribution in making our club great . Now I cannot be more clear than that for the love of loyal Manly people

I am glad you understand me when I say that passion does make a difference to our membership numbers
and the truth is we do lack the over all passionate club membership support that other clubs have and we cannot sugar coat the truth . Try telling some on her to ease up criticizing our club and owners
