I was at the game and I came away distinctly unimpressed with Ashley Klein - far and away Parramatta’s best player on the night.

I always thought he was pretty reasonable, as dickheads in (various varieties of) pastel shirts in the middle go, but last night’s performance when it came to policing the ruck, was almost Gomersall-like in its one-sided nature.

Geez we looked good when Marty bends the line, we get a quick play the ball and Levi sends it to DCE with the defence retreating. Unfortunately, it is generally only Marty and sometimes Sirro generating those really quick play the balls at the moment. When they don't happen we look a bit frantic trying to make territory and push passes that aren't on.

Great effort though, especially in defence. It was refreshing to see some line speed and to watch everyone dig in. It wasn't flawless but it was a great win.

Yep, still a little frantic - still need more out of Jetski and Waddell as well. Not sure who will replace Thommo in 2021, but cannot see it being one of those two. Hoping Sipley can get back to his best, think we need his go forward of the bench.

I like that the team were trying new things. DCE and Levi running, a lot more speed from players running onto the ball, Jake taking on the line and Marty going for the offloads. If we could put an 80 minute performance together that would be great...

I was wondering the same - is Parramatta's defence that good, or do them seem to get away with a lot of holding down? I still cannot work out the 6 to go, we seem to get hit with a lot of those calls

When Garrick lined up to convert his kick "to the right of the goal posts" I thought that he always seems to miss them from there. It's his weak spot.

Showed some excellent character last night with that determined team effort and form turn around . Impressive i st half but the way they kept showing up for each other and under adversity and pressure situations for a good part of the second half was top shelf . Great efforts and real improvement all round and even typified with Croker"s whole hearted input . Parker "s last minute save could have easily gone wrong and full credit for such a gutsy effort . Other positive is that there can still be more improvement in them over a full eighty but men on a mission last night and they certainly delivered .

I was impressed with Suli when he came back on after injury. He did make 2 major error that cost points BUT his commitment was outstanding. He really made a effort to be 2nd man in on tackles to make them effective. That sort of commitment wins matches.

It's quite bad that a fast bowler from NSW has knows the stripping rules better than a foxsports nrl commentator. Even Papenyhausen (spelling) was laughing at the decision.

So in the vidiot box...if we don't get known incompetent maxwell...we have to get a past player from the opposition side? I mean wtf is wrong with the nrl. I thought v'landys the messiah was onto all of this crap with his 'pulse of the people' aura.

Brad Parker's courage and defensive ability (especially at left centre) is very impressive. He is sneakily good at contesting kicks and hitting holes as well. This is the sort of player you need in your team to win a premiership - reliable and cap efficient. Plus he has red hair and you need at least one of those.

Levi had easily his best game for us last night. I think he was kept on the bench too long. There was one play where he scooted from dummy half where he should have passed after a quick play the ball but other than that he was extremely good. I have been one of his critics and still don't think he has the smarts to really excel at 9 in the modern game but with sufficient play the ball speed he could just be serviceable.

Sirro is another player flying under the radar in comparison with his contributions. His runs last night cutting back inside were great. He has evolved into a great defensive edge player and is a true strike weapon inside the opponents red zone.

I hope some people are giving DCE the credit he deserves. He was brilliant last night and was heavily involved in everything on both sides of the ball and off of it. People who want to get rid of him amaze me, look at the other teams who are struggling to find a real halfback. Get rid of the Australian number 7 and we will end up with a Lachlan Lewis, Ash Taylor or Anthony Milford type player in our team replacing him. DCE has been guilty of trying too desperately to win games for us when we haven't laid the platform in the middle recently - we really need those quick play the balls and a retreating defence to give him time to work his magic.

Jetski had some pretty big momentshere and there.
Duck was a bit frantic in attack but he also absolutely crushes in defense
