It was so wonderful to be back at Brooky and the small crowd let the Whingers know that they were indeed on hostile territory.

We got the reaction that was expected from last weeks debacle and a Parra side due for a loss and for 20 minutes we went for the jugular and did everything that had not been done in the last few games.

What won the game I thought was the ten minutes before half time when Parra got back into the game and had chances to score another and crucially a try from a kick YEP a kick got us enough ahead of them.

The second half was poor from Manly, I think we used a lot of juice up in half 1. Yet another vidiot brain explosion costs us a try when we would have had a kick for goal to go 20 up. It is astonishing how bad these decisions are. That is a strip every day of the week and the officials just dont get it!

We held our own pretty well until the last 15 when we did everything we could to get them back into the game, conceding a scrum penalty. dropping the ball and playing expansive football when what was needed was basics as they had all the problems 14 points behind.

It was a courageous effort considering what is against us right now with injuries and suspension and we have not had one call all year from the vidiots!

It is now important to get a result next week as any win in this time is so vital until we get some guns back.

I really hope that AFB had a good look at the effort tonight. We so missed his metres and I just hope that he takes one for the team, takes the flu jab and gets out there to support his mates!!

Yes I was wrong too, and some weren’t happy that I didn’t watch it live but that was just the way I chose to process this situation that could have easily gone the other way.

I’ll happily watch the replay tomorrow and without losing my **** in the game day thread.

Queen grubbo whinges the entire game its appalling. Infact most of the parra players do but the queen and sivo are the worst every tackle they thrash around like a fish out of water and complain when they dont get a penalty. I loved it when the queen couldn't get to crokers 40 20 and booted the ball but my favourite part was when he was kicking for goal and a Manly fan was ripping him right behind him.. hahaha **** grubbo

Great win against the comp leaders and the usual dodgy decisions.

Have you seen warren smiths take on the strip try? He claims it was a far try he's always hated manly. Dont know who it was but on twitter they completely embarrassed him about it

Geez we looked good when Marty bends the line, we get a quick play the ball and Levi sends it to DCE with the defence retreating. Unfortunately, it is generally only Marty and sometimes Sirro generating those really quick play the balls at the moment. When they don't happen we look a bit frantic trying to make territory and push passes that aren't on.

Great effort though, especially in defence. It was refreshing to see some line speed and to watch everyone dig in. It wasn't flawless but it was a great win.

Add that he got smashed several times when bringing the ball back. It was great to see the little queen getting hammered.
