Not really, as a % of the salary cap DCE has been far more expensive. I wouldn't swap DCE for Luai but today's 1.2M is yesterday's 800K.

Wakeham is a good signing for blacktown workers.
Means he will be in the team week in week out.
Nsw cup teams struggle because they don’t know who’s playing until sometimes days before hand.
Now the team can gel better together and not wait until the nrl team is cut to 18 players.

I get it he is coming from the wooden spooners, but he was fairly instrumental in at least one of their wins. That seems to be a good pick-up for a NSW Cup team in my book.
