The No-Look News (Schuster Chronicles)

hes only young. Time is on his side to become the complete player. Hes learning.
100% agree...but to learn, you have to accept that you've got things to work on...that acceptance seems difficult for some people on the forum.

It proved that Schuster isn’t quite ready to take the reins as the week in week out no.6.

Not sure how one can say that if he has not played 5/8th all season.
If he had, he may have been better than Foran, and not got the crap beaten out of him every game he has played in the forwards.

One thing is for certain, he is not improving his play as a 5/8th when he is not playing there.

Maybe true but we may of seen more of the impatience he has shown at times with the ball and was predictable given his age and the fact he hasn’t played much senior footy and he could get away with it in the junior ranks

For sure. In the end it only matters if hes accepted it. Thats the only way he will improve.. doesnt matter what any of us say. He looks a good kid. I am sure he will come on leaps and bounds in the future years. Scary to see what he could be if hes focused and dedicated in 5 years time. Could absolutely dominate this competition. If he wants it hard enough. Talent is never enough.

Thing with the shoe is he never consistently played second row or in the forwards ever during his junior years so for him to come to the nrl and perform on the level he is and learn and for him to always be in our top tacklers list week in week out is just a testament to how much he does want to be there. People like to talk about his attacking stats but forget he's just as much involved on the defensive end if not more. Bright future ahead for him and to me he's already learning and listening as much as he can otherwise des wouldn't pick him every week.

Anyone on here still think Schuster is faster than Parker? Got in Space and De Luis was catching him 😉
He looks about 7 kg overweight to me. I hope he learns quickly to make the most of the talent he has through hard work; being overweight as a professional NRL player is something that shouldn't happen.

Come on Josh, don't just rely on talent mate, work harder than everyone else (and not at the buffet).
