Nope - 2 years plus 2 year option in his favour. So he can stink it up for 2 years and can then activate the option on the last two years and get paid two more mill to be garbage or he can set the world on fire and opt out of those last two years to sign for more money.

Considering how these negotiations dragged on, it's a terrible deal for Gold Coast. A lot of money, no real power and possibly without a #7 in two years...

They'll be held to ransom with a new tv deal. It will def go up again which he'll demand more money. And if he doesn't feel like losing anymore he'll go somewhere else. His missus might decide she wants the kids to be brought up on the beaches lol

Well to be honest we all knew it was coming, it's no surprise to me at all.

We are imploding, and it's going to need a period of rebuilding and period of mediocre performances whilst this happens .
