Warriors five-eighth Kieran Foran admitted he feared the worst when he felt a muscle in his quad pull late in his side's 34-12 win over the Titans on Saturday but is confident any damage is only minor and won't sideline him for an extended period.

Foran could place no weight on his left leg as he was carried from the field in the 64th minute of a Warriors performance that was as encouraging as the Titans were disappointing.

He's a crock. Will be a tremendous waste of money for the Dogs who are beginning to take on Parra like symptoms. I soooooo hope. 😵

Apart from his mind his body must be close to being ****ed, which I believe is starting to show with his injury issues this year.

Good luck Bulldogs if you think you've signed the Messiah.

I thought that the warriors were supposed to be premiership contenders when Foran signed with them

I hope the dogs supporters are having a good look at the next 4 years while they wait for Foran to win them a title.

His body is shot and most likely his mind as well His career peaked in his early years with us and all downhill now
And if Deslan walked (I don't think he will), what will Kiermond do?

How long can Foran live off his manly legacy?
As long as Des lets him I presume.

It wouldn't surprise me to see $Forme end up at hooker at the Dogs, or as a bench utility. I don't know if he is struggling with fitness but he physically doesn't look up to providing the spark required to play in the halves anymore. I know his "take it deep to the line" style will strike a chord with Des's method of coaching, but you can see the toll that has taken on his body already, and it will only get worse. He might get bashed out of it in 12 months.

Are there any other teams who play a predominantly running 5/8 these days ?? Maloney to an extent I suppose and Blake Austin, but not may others - Sutton if he plays 6 at Bunnies.

Parra got smashed.
Moses got drilled.
Dogs see the busted a*se croc they've invested a heap of their cap on at the expense of a local hero pull up lame yet again........
And a Manly victory that has the whingers whinging.
One of the best long weekends in recent times !!!

I would think cody will go back to 6 at souff$ and be a runner.

With a heap of disgruntled Bulldogs players knowing they may be on the scrapheap with Foran & Woods coming, and the fact that there are going to be rallies by their fans if the Dogs get toweled this weekend, it could be the perfect opportunity for the players to absolutely let Des have it, by putting in a crap performance (whether they mean it or not).

They'll play him at halfback and get him to just steer the team around the park. Injuries have curtailed his running and long kicking for quite some time. He may surprise but I suspect his best is definitely behind him. He only turns 27 in a couple of weeks but seems more like a 30 year old.

Speaking of Foran and his woes, a guy at Brookie last week (who isn't a Chez fan) was saying he still thinks we kept the wrong half. Pfftt, I said...after all Foran's on/off field issues! We're agreeing to disagree on that one...

The guy must be living in Dreamland, ALinda. Manly offered Foran the World and were prepared to sacrifice DCE and still Foran walked out. In the end he thought being with his mate Watmough, coach Arthur and No 1 supporter Sterling, that he had it made. He wasnt going to stay so saying we kept the wrong one is illogical talk. And that's even if he was right and we kept the wrong one. He's illogical there as well because DCE is streets better than Foran. Foran was a 2 season wonder, who operated kamikaze style and was warned by many that that style of play would burn him out quickly. It did. Still a good player but not a shadow of what he was. He looks broken to me.

Spot on @Bearfax

The guy's still bitter about the supposed grudge between the Stewarts/Choc vs DCE over losing Gift. Yes....still! Never mind about how long ago that was, or comparing DCE to Foran on and off the field since then. Yes totally illogical and it beggared belief.

(As an aside, he made the comment just as DCE scored his try off the grubber. I laughed and what could he say!)
