I would have liked to see blokes sacked LAST year KW... R1-4 2021 was just a continuation of the sh*t we served up for the last 3 months last year (but we got punished worse by good sides)...Having our million-dollar fullback in the side may have helped a tad. @Snake posted why Haumole wasn't selected in round one, and he also implied that he likely would have been thereabouts come round 2 - then he got injured.
So, the coach has nothing to do with the turnaround in form? What about in 2019 - did he have any input that season?
You're right, though - he is a loyal man. Perhaps Des should have jumped up and down during that first four rounds. Just start sacking blokes from the side left, right and centre. It's worked a treat for Madge.
Thankfully, Josh and Haumole enjoy Dessie's coaching.
Fair enough mate - and from one sausage roll eating numbnut to another, may it be onwards and upwards we go.I would have liked to see blokes sacked LAST year KW... R1-4 2021 was just a continuation of the sh*t we served up for the last 3 months last year (but we got punished worse by good sides)...
Let's hope it is onwards and upwards from here on...
Well spotted Kevin. That was my point. The fan experience is entirely subjective. Some people boil with rage while others simmer.
Saul can glove bud... don't know the other kid but he will want to be good...Fair enough mate - and from one sausage roll eating numbnut to another, may it be onwards and upwards we go.
On a side note - Canelo Alvarez v Billy Joe Saunders is coming up on May the 8th - lock it in Frankie Boy!
Having Turbo in the side has made a massive difference to the teams performance. He is clearly the most influential player in the game right now.Having our million-dollar fullback in the side may have helped a tad. @Snake posted why Haumole wasn't selected in round one, and he also implied that he likely would have been thereabouts come round 2 - then he got injured.

yes yes - that coaching team is hopeless. They have no idea at all - stupid morons they all are. Have you put your Coaching resume together yet? Maybe you and a few other "experts" on here could put together a dream team coaching team and get a gig at Manly or somewhere else?
yes yes.... he had a fab PR team that is for sure lolIf we could get Barrett’s PR team on board that could be quite possible
A sausage roll eating, keyboard warrior, hey? I lean more towards being a sausage roll eating numbnut myself. Nevertheless, Manly are on the boil right now, and I'm simmering with joy.Having Turbo in the side has made a massive difference to the teams performance. Our results speak for themselves when he is fit and playing well. Turbo is one of the most natural footballers I have seen in the modern era. A lot of what Turbo does isn't coachable. When he is at his explosive best, most defensive structures simply can't deal with him. Right now he is almost unstoppable. Clearly I put most of the credit for that individual performance to Turbo himself, and not the coach.
However, Des is coaching this seventeen very well. If we can maintain this side (more or less), and can demonstrate that we have the ability to compete with, and defeat the top five sides, I will be the first sausage roll eating, keyboard warrior (sometimes boiling and sometimes simmering) to congratulate him. At the end of the day the only thing that matters is Manly winning. Go, Manly.
Alvarez is unbelievable - Saunders is 30 and 0, a two weight champion, and a hard as nails gypsy to boot. Should be a great fight.Saul can glove bud... don't know the other kid but he will want to be good...
I feel so brilliant right now.Well spotted, Kevin. That was my point.
Actually I ate a sausage roll yesterday, so I am living up to Zorba's stereotype. It does sound like your in danger of premature ejaculation though. Lets see how we go with the top five sides and I will be right there with you.A sausage roll eating, keyboard warrior, hey? I lean more towards being a sausage roll eating numbnut myself. Well as Benny Elias said the other night on NRL360 - "Just having Turbo in the side gives all the other players a 10% lift, so they're 170% better side with him in it".I must be the only one that is shiite scared and concerned that one player can turn around our entire season ... and whilst we rightly sing the praises of all our brilliant players and coach ... where was their great form during our 1 win from 15 games ???
I love Manly and I love Manly winning ... but boy ... the situation does worry me ...

No, premature ejaculation has never been a concern of mine - I'm a delayed ejaculation kind of guy. You come across like an erectile dysfunction type - If Manly continues winning, I'll flick you a little blue tablet so we can celebrate in tandem.Actually I ate a sausage roll yesterday, so I am living up to Zorba's stereotype. Depends on how you define "celebrating in tamden". But I will admit I get more excited by a Manly win, than a date night with my wife. No, premature ejaculation has never been a concern of mine - I'm a delayed ejaculation kind of guy.
