The sensible decision, sanity has prevailed, a win for common sense, blah, blah, blah.........going to be a long day for the spin doctors.
Yes .... the gravy train media will no doubt hail it as a victory for common sense and pragmatism ..... the problem is that victory came over core principles and integrity .....
Those that stand for nothing will fall for anything ... and those that value the short term result, over the long term probity .... are doomed to an existence of corruption and deal making ..... the NRL are open and selling results .....
This is how grubby Slater should have made the tackle
No, they were just having a cuppa, killing time to make it look good.
“ can we make it an hour?”, um “ no better not that will look bad how about 55 minutes”!!!
Pass me that Ice VoVo please!!
More likely that Slater the Grub, will lay on his dirty set of tricks knowing that he is now untouchableSlater gets ironed out by a shoulder charge and is unable to make his Clive Churchill medal acceptance speech from his hospital bed....Dylan Napa, the balls in your court....
Beautifully said Woodsie can I post that elsewhere?
At least he's not ninja kicking these days. We should all be thankful for the improvement.
The case was flawed from the minute the NRL (mysteriously) couldn't get either of their top 2 prosecuters to represent their case.
The No 3 was called in and had never prosecuted a top grade NRL case previously.
Is this fair dinkum ?? What a farce if that is the case, a high profile hearing like this and they give it to the office boy ?? Even by Todd's low standards, this is laughable. What a bunch of incompetents we have running this game.......incompetent or corrupt, I'm not actually sure.

Very wise, very correct and very un PPC......Yes .... the gravy train media will no doubt hail it as a victory for common sense and pragmatism ..... the problem is that victory came over core principles and integrity .....
