I know the centre you are talking about but I can't remember his name. He scored four tries in one match. I know this is going OTT but he reminded me of a young Bozo Fulton. He is zippy, a nugget and a real competitor. Whenever he had the ball something happened.

Speaking of gun young centres, I'd never heard of Matt Timoko until we played the Raiders and he gave us plenty of problems, hard to tackle. Not that we need any centres ourselves, but wouldn't surprise me to see him go far.

Encouraging people to sign up for member packages is one thing, abusing them as "full of ****" is quite another and that is not on.
Especially when membership is not the sort of membership that brings voting rights, it is mainly game day packages, and attendance at games has been screwed for the past two years.
In addition to which many more people are suffering financial stress also due to the pandemic.

The Benchmark of passion for our club......

I have a friend who is on disability pension on a fcking wheelchair and lives in a run down house commission home on his fcking own and just gets by on his little finances and he says he always scrapes enough money for club membership for his beloved club the South Sydney Rabitohs that give him pleasure in his rundown life

When I visit him and bring him food he always talks about the love of his club
and he also backs up the love of his club by giving what little he has to financially support them

This bloke has no teeth because he cannot afford them
But he has a big passionate heart for his club and a proud club membership

Raiders have some great young talent in the centres and on the wing, if they can sign a decent halve they will go better next season.

Ok - I'll bite.

I love the passion; everyone who says that they are a real Manly fan - and can afford it - should be a member. I agree.

However, I don't think you have a real handle on how difficult it is, and may have been, for some over the past two years. Imagine having your household income decrease by over 80%, with a mortgage still to pay. All from circumstances that you didn't initiate, and can't control. Imagine wondering how you were going to afford even the basics of life like food; football memberships, like many things, are purely discretionary purchases. Imagine no discretionary purchases at all, and having to default on your mortgage for over 18 months. All of this has been my journey.

Don't tell me I'm full of @#$% if I haven't bought a membership lately. Be encouraging, by all means. But don't disparage others unless you know everyone's personal circumstances - which you don't.

I agreed when he played us, but he was abysmal last night v roosters. He will be heavily targeted in the future.
