Heard that our CEO just finished 3 days of "discussion" and "questions" over our appeal. There appears to be cloak of secrecy around were we stand?

I guess it's mission successful for Greenberg. Manly no longer have enough time to get anything signed off before June 30. The 300k from this year is basically gone. Does anyone know if we can actually use that to front load any contracts after June 30? Or is that money now just gone?

Someone who makes up the rules as they go to suit an agenda never loses , until they get shafted and that WILL happen, just not sure when!
Oh now to answer your other question, if we win we’d get that money back and couldn’t spend it for this year but yes we could forward pay some for 2019 ( I think).
If Toddy did lose you'd have to think there'd be an inquisition in how he went about his investigation. This would pretty much confirm that he has an agenda against us.
With the extra $330k, it might be that we can't spend it on a new player on the roster but can use it to forward pay an existing player from the roster. I hope that's the case. Otherwise we only end up saving the fine and the $330k for next year, all because of the NRL's incompetency at understanding their own damn salary cap.
Even with The Gross Greenberg and the amateurishness that is the NRL, I'm actually still pretty shocked that this wasn't resolved before June 30.
