Salary Cap Witch Hunt. **Appeal unsuccessful**

Imagine how I feel getting this c$#p, I deal with this on a daily basis with a number of NRL Club Directors on a different level, I could tell more but that will cause more problems. So at the end of the day, hearing my S#@t, how complex is this ****? The fact the NRL still want to stand on their high and mighty attitude, that is really a crock of ****e, is that not a problem in itself. At the end of the day I share this info on the basis of 60% of my fellow Silvertails will take it on face value and the rest well have a F%$k you attitude, I feel most is given in good faith. Some will say I'm full of sh#t, so be it! Some feedback is better than none! BTW Kent isn't really a DH! weirdly his conversations are logical. BTW he knows what I know because he was at the same lunch.

Thanks Champ for your posts, really enjoy reading the information you share with us.

This saga needs to end!! Greenturd wins regardless of whether we are guilty or not. Our club is paralysed in relation to recruitment or re-signing players and that puts us in the weakest position for next season.

It stinks that Greenturd is being allowed to ruin our game by a few selfish clubs protecting their own assess and you see clubs openly rorting the cap and third-party payments and this cretin tells you there is nothing to see.

I long for the days when we had leadership that cared about the game. Now it is all about self-interest and protecting the elite!

So Supreme Leader, given what you have been revealing to us, what is your best guess outcome for the Sea eagles for next year, given this year is gone? Does Manly have a chance of getting back their money and avoid the fine? And what's the hold up in the Brookvale rebuild.

I vote for you to be the Supreme Leader of the NRL.

just knowing someone called supreme leader had axpessed interest in todds job should stop toddles from sleeping. Just the audacity that someone running for his job was using his own moniker in the race.
How dare he.

Still can not see what the big deal or difference is whether a T P A guarantee to any set player is actually offered by the prospective sponsor or club officials offering or acting on behalf of the prospective sponsor and how this realistically prevents any other club from still negotiating with that individual player. Best endeavour activities by club officials or again acting on behalf of a prospective sponsor , again what is really the difference and either in a practical or technical sense . And Greeberg "s public contention or claim that this would have prevented continued negotiations with other clubs is again just not a sustainable or valid argument and also especially when all of Manly"s T P A "s were properly disclosed and reported but again this is the basis of Greenberg's clear and harmful agenda against Manly . No doubt other N R L clubs who would have operated in similar ways and practices have been just quite content to sit back and watch Manly take all of the heat and divert attention from them . Again the quite serious and obvious fact is that this has continued to adversely affect Manly and real and natural justice application seems to be a secondary consideration, at least up to this point of time . Maybe and hopefully the appeals committee has adopted a proper balanced approach but again the really unacceptable and even scary thing is the present N R L administration is able to operate in such a petty and incompetent way and not only towards Manly and seem to still have the attitude that they are not accountable and beyond reproach .

Exactly right, I would hazard a guess that ever club is doing exactly the same. You then have to question why aren't the nrl being proactive (big lols) and scrutinising every other team. It is such a personal agenda driven witch hunt that no one at the nrl is game enough to question

I reckon now the Immortals and Hallo f fame stuff is over now, we should hear something soon, maybe next week. lol sorry Mark, I couldnt let you have all the fun mate lol

I think Lyall Gormans letter this afternoon suggests we might have lost, he’d know!!

**** you Greenslime **** you with a gigantic big stick!!

Agreed.

"Similarly, no matter what the outcome of the salary cap appeal will be, we have to accept the final adjudication and get on with business. We cannot change the final ruling, but we can and will control what is to follow in this vital area of our operations."

That does not sound promising.

I interpreted it that way too.

Similarly, no matter what the outcome of the salary cap appeal will be, we have to accept the final adjudication and get on with business. We cannot change the final ruling, but we can and will control what is to follow in this vital area of our operations.

That line is quite telling. We all knew Greenturd is a fwit of the highest order so I don't think any of us could ever imagine him admitting he was wrong. :swear:

When Greenburg paid his mate on the board , 10's of thousands to find fault, we could never win, else he be called corrupt given conflict of interest.

Unsure how this could be appropriate in any way whatsoever.

Then to hear Mitchell Pearce was tipped off by Wayne Pearce (also on the board) that trouble was about to come to Manly, driving him to The Knights, the inner corruption was abundant.

Why the media aren't salivating over these stories is beyond me.
