We'll recognise you; you'll be the only one wearing shoes.I'm considering attending, but I don't do polo shirts, and I am reluctant to sit with a large group of people in polo shirts.
How strict are the dress rules for this event?
I think the weather might ruin it for you unfortunately Dan from what I've been seeingConsidering a middle harbour kayak trip on friday, tides are good but not sure about the weather
Me getting mine was in part at the gentle persuasion of my darling. Not a bad idea and might let Hannah feel better about me going
If you need something more low key there is always the bridge at Narrabeen with the mandatory longneckIt's not the fishing that causes the injuries it's the crazy locations in which I choose to go and the risks I take. Might just chase some soapies on the Hawkesbury or something for a few weeks whilst I heal
Did one locally today only ended up with a massive graze down the arm. Good times. Got a great mud marlin thoughIf you need something more low key there is always the bridge at Narrabeen with the mandatory longneck

Carp....
They fight like an Irishman being kept from haggis
I'm a catch and release guy. Last fish I kept was a big kingy at the end of 2017. If I catch a nice sized flathead in good water I might keep it. However I just like the sport and adventure and less so the stabby stabby and eat part****ing Carp, bastards !!!
Ever caught a Murray Cod??
Mick and I used to go fishing on the Gwydir , they are fun and bloody good eating if you get the minimum size ones. Mick was a “ catch & release “ fisherman , I’m a “ yum yum you look good to eat “ man!!

Figure enough fish get killed and wasted in shops and the markets so best to just buy those than add to the overall loss.
I think I count my fishing trips in cuts, scrapes and injuries.I don’t keep all I catch , but I do like a nice bit of fishy fishy !!
Heading to the Gulf next year , I don’t do all that photo **** but hope to get some nice ones up there , most I’ll throw back but I’ll certainly fillet a few!!
