PRE-GAME DISCUSSION: Penrith v Manly [Round 8, 2021]

Like others have alluded, Penrith are ripe for the picking, they have played very loose the last few weeks, trying to play fancy, they have been fortunate some balls have stuck that really shouldn't have and the ones not, not punished.
If we can control our own ball play limiting mistakes and defend as we have done past 2 weeks we will give it a red hot crack.

That said they play up tempo and we may try to slow them down leading to a ridiculous amount of 6 agains against us, and that will be all she wrote.

Looking forward to a good contest, well better than the last one anyway.

It's encouraging to have a team that's in form and only weaker than full strength in a couple of positions. Obviously Tommy being back is massive for us but I think our centres, second row, and bench look far better now than they did at the start of the year. The only 2 players in this team that I'd drop at full strength are Parker (for Walker) and Croker (for Fainu).

or Lawton
Siro would also come back in. He can be like schuster on the other side, 2 ball playing ex 5/8 edge forwards. Wow that would be something if he can rediscover or be inspired to find that side of himself again
