Worth pointing out that with the Storm it starts from the owners down. They have had consistency in many key areas for nearly 20 years.

They are one of, if not the most resourced club (including highest amount of registered TPAs). They have an excellent feeder/pathways system and as far as I know their football manager is regarded as the best in the business.

It is all well and good to want/expect Des to fix everything... but methinks there is a reason other coaches were not interested in taking the job when it was available.

You know, I'd like to see those excellent feeder/pathways actually being in Victoria where the club is based rather than in Queensland. But then, the NRL will never make them do that because having a successful team in the heart of AFL territory is both bragging rights and good for business.

Agreed! That one b4 half time killed the dogs and i have no idea why. Watson was running got half tackled and boom set restart. Knights experience will get them over even with mann injured. Frizell is a great player and so is daniel Saifiti

I've noticed replays are the exception not the rule including for the numerous contentious calls in the first two games. No accountability.

This is the new Rugby League people - Refs know who is meant to win and enforce it mercilessly.

Then - wouldntchaknow - piggy-backed 6-agains for the doggies when they are no longer a threat, so the imbalance doesn't show at full-time when the dogs are soundly beaten.

Get used to it.

Exactly.... they do it at the end when the game is over so it looks fair on the stats sheet. They used to do the same thing with penalties but now there is basically zero accountability.
I like the old rules but I do prefer 1 ref
