Sooo....who do the refs want (or need) to win out of Broncs/Eels?

I'm expecting the refs to keep the Broncs in this more than they deserve - but the Eels are also a golden child.

I tipped the doggies knowing knights had a bunch out .. forgot to add in the Barrett factor

They have a beast pack that just spanked the dogs. Also loads more experience even with ponga out they never looked like losing

Here's your 'political' winners this round:

1) Melb def Souths (1-town team losing Scam, AFL season hasn't started so grab limelight while they can, Souths will get plenty of help in future games, easy to make up)

2) Knights def Dogs (1-town team long-suffering, still pull crowds despite being losers. Dogs expendable)

3) Broncs def Eels in thriller (Broncos fanbase must be appeased, Eels will get plenty of help in future games, easy to make up - unless Broncs are truly too sh*t to score)

4) Titans def Warriors (hard one to pick - keep Queenslanders happy with their new team to root for, or reward warriors for attrition - fk NZ, Queensland must be appeased)

5) Rooters def Manly (coz sif Manly matters, Nicky must be appeased, and can easily be blamed on Turbo missing. Legit)

6) Panthers def Cowboys (they have to maintain credibility)

7) Raiders def Tigers (coz Tigers are almost as expendable as Manly, and Raiders are current contenders with no hope of being gifted premiership - keep it real boyz)

8) Sharks def Dragons (Scotty wouldn't be happy y'know. Engadine Maccas needs more publicity)

Yeah but they should come good because Twent has learnt from his past mistakes. The Orca has the All Blacks coach and an army of assistants behind him, albeit none of them have ever played for the club. Supercoach moved on anyone who had past ties to the club, just like he did at Manly. Twent likes to do things Twent's way.

I agree...I'm usually pretty good at tipping but always takes a few weeks to dial it in a bit.
Didn't tip Manly this week, served me well last year so need to see something from them before putting my money behind them again
