Game Day: Manly v Easts [Round 22, 2017]

Sounds like we played awesome. Been out but reading the updates on the forum. Cant wait to get home and watch the recored game. Go manly. What a win especially at home. Massive boost to the whole side and confidence.

You'll love it from about 30 minutes on.

Manly cut out the dumb penalties, supported the runner and constantly change the point of attack.

Online defense is also back. The Rorters were close on about 5 occasions but Manly held them out

I panicked lol but happy with that. The roosters are simply nothing without Friend and Cordner.
Next 4 games are very winnable. In fact I think we should win all of them.
Kelly won't be getting his spot back any time soon, Parker was enjoyable to watch.

Thank christ for that win. Should all but guarantee our spot in the 8 now you would think. Our defence is still pretty soft at times though. Need to work on defending offloads better, we seem to be the worst in that department.

Parker was outstanding. Doesn't bode well for Brian.

Great to have options. Parker was really good, which shouldn't surprise anyone who's watched him develop over the last couple of seasons. What really impressed me today was his toughness. He was targeted and whacked (legally and illegally) all day and really stood up.

I've never doubted you with Parker, he's a tough one, absolutely brilliant stuff from him today. In Woodsie we trust

Checcin would've been quite capable to ref that on his own.

Was watching the Workers go around and was thinking how good the Ref was and it was because there was only one ref.

Huge improvement on recent weeks.Why didn't we play like this last week and the week before?Heads were probably on the chopping block this week I would say. I just hope we don't take our foot off the pedal next week.We still need to tighten up in defence a little to match the storm and some other sides but a fine win by the boys.Our road to the finals looks good and there should be no reason we can't make the finals this year.Much better than last year anyway.
