[Resurrected] Lol @ Parra

The tele article full of post match warm fuzzies towards the cheats and the Dalai is hurl worthy.
I cannot understand how the media can promote salary cap cheats as heroic? As for the Dalai he's in this up to his eyeballs.
Next week the embattled Foz will be back early from the Tooth Fairy Rehab Clinic to assist his new besties on the field. Foz love fest coming up. Stay tuned.@
This came out in the media today but it must have been included in the docs the nrl viewed before they came up with their lame, pathetic punishment, that is almost more astounding. Seriously, what would a cheating team have to do to warrant losing the right to play for points
Call themselves Manly (not that we'd do it of course)

My favourite part of everyone of these stories (apart from showing how incompetent parra is) is the line "not that there is any suggestion that the player or manager knew of hte illegal payments"

Come on.

There has to be some personal responsibility. It is right up there with "my drink was spike" or "it was my mum's medication" as an excuse for doping.

That's what I said!

surprised you can't remember.

It was probably post #1834...or 243....or 1009...or 2155...or...

Meh, I dunno, my manager looks after that side of my postings.

NRL to add $500K in illegal TPA’s to Parramatta Eels 2017 salary cap — report
PARRAMATTA’S fallout from the NRL’s salary cap investigation is a long way from over, with $500,000 in third-party agreements guaranteed by the Eels for 2017 reportedly set to be included in next year’s cap.
In a development certain to cruel any hopes by the Eels of bringing Jarryd Hayne back to the club in the short term, they will have only $6.6 million at their disposal in 2017 according to Fairfax Media.
Despite the salary cap rising from $6.8 million to $7.1 million next season, it was reported on Wednesday night that Parramatta’s indiscretions in recent seasons meant they would have $500,000 less than rival clubs in 2017 to outlay on players.
The Eels shed Nathan Peats and Ryan Morgan this year which, in addition to the retirement of Anthony Watmough, allowed them to get back under the cap and compete again for premiership points.
Fairfax says it understands third-party arrangements with Kieran Foran, Michael Jennings, Semi Radradra, Beau Scott and Watmough will all be included in next year’s salary cap.
If Corey Norman is successful in negotiating the $850,000-a-season deal he is asking for, it is estimated the club will have close to $3.6 million tied up in five players (Foran, Jennings, Scott, Radradra and Norman) leaving just $3 million to spend on the remaining 20 players in the top 25 squad.

Deadbeat has set his priorities straight.
Apparently he flies in for the game, then straight back to rehab.:swear:

His 3 month old son and 2 year old daughter can wait for parenting till the off season 😕

Go Scumos

Somebody on tele summed it up for me last night.

"they are flying a bloke in from a mental institution to play a game of Rugby League, and then flying him back to the mental institution"

That can't be a good thing.

The terrible thing is not all Parra fans are arseholes. I've got a mate who's one of the best bloke you could ever meet. He constantly turns up with lots of beer, he loves the Grateful Dead and psychedelia in general. I can talk to him about anything. He's got a lot of great bikes, I wish he was a chick....
