[Resurrected] Lol @ Parra

The terrible thing is not all Parra fans are arseholes. I've got a mate who's one of the best bloke you could ever meet. He constantly turns up with lots of beer, he loves the Grateful Dead and psychedelia in general. I can talk to him about anything. He's got a lot of great bikes, I wish he was a chick....

My brother-in-law is in the same category. Such a good bloke, he made a bet with our side of the family each time my sister was pregnant that the baby would support whatever team was higher on the ladder when it was born. One was born a few weeks before the '07 GF, one after the '08 GF, and the two boys in '12 and '14. Four from four, thank you very much - and he just takes it on the chin, never complains. Even wears a Manly shirt when the kids bring him to games.

Somebody on tele summed it up for me last night.

"they are flying a bloke in from a mental institution to play a game of Rugby League, and then flying him back to the mental institution"

That can't be a good thing.

Spare a thought for Foz. It must be hard to be a professional footballer surrounded by nutcases. And then when the game's over he has to leave Parra and go back to the asylum.

Are the Seekers playing the asylum? Can he grab Judith Durham's autograph?

I'll settle for Athol's if ha can't get Judith's.

I like that Athol guy lol, but we all know Bruce Woodley was the real reason behind the seekers success.

I'd love The Seekers to do a version of 'I still haven't found what I'm looking for' by U2.

Anyone heard anything from Choc since his forced retirement. I wonder if he still loves the Dalai as much now.
i imagine that over time he will think 'Why drive out to Parramatta every day? I mean the Dalai has forgotten about me!'

Then he will start thinking with the clarity of his inner six year old street kid, 'Maybe I can pop around to Zorb's for a plate of souvlaki, and wheedle my way back into the old outfit?'
