What are the odds of Choc being on the sideline Monday ?

I'd say about the same as Brookie getting 200 million in funding.

Living in the demountable.
BA should probably get the sack for his recruitment master strokes, ie sign Choc so we can sign Foran. Foran has a two year deal with a further two year option in his favour. At this rate after year two he'll be close to worthless yet Parra will have to pay him another $1.4M a year for two more years. No way he doesn't excercise that option.

My disappointment with our form this year is balanced by Parra's daily woes.

Parramatta Eels five-eighth Corey Norman has been linked to a pills investigation at The Star casino on Friday night.

The NRL integrity unit has been made aware of the incident which occurred around 11pm on Friday night.

Channel Seven reported a group of men were stopped during a routine medical detector search when a 25-year-old male was found in a possession of a container with unidentified pills.

Norman was with a group of friends and it is believed he was not in possession of the capsules but is part of the police investigation.
Police officers spoke to the 25-year-old man at The Star for over an hour, Channel Seven reported.

Norman has yet to be interviewed by police but are expected to call the Eels five-eighth in for question.

Officers are looking at CCTV footage of the incident and the pills have been sent for forensic investigation.

Norman will still line up for the Eels against Melbourne at Pirtek Stadium on Monday night.

Move along, nothing to see here...

Seems like he was at least smart enough to have a mate carrying the pingers for the whole group, Norman will just plead ignorance.

$5.50: Semi Radradra leaves to play Fiji 7s rugby union
$7.00: Junior Paulo is secretly caught under a mask trying out for the WWE

(From making the nut. All sounds plausible)

What are the odds for "all of the above"?

COREY Norman can expect to be subjected to target drug testing after allegedly being found with unknown capsules on Friday night.

As the NRL await advice from police over what happened with Norman outside The Star around 11pm, The Daily Telegraph learned the Eels playmaker would be in the sights of an independent pathology firm the next time they paid a visit.

Norman took the field against Melbourne on Monday night, just 72 hours after he was searched by security at the casino, and had just enjoyed a dinner with a colourful crew, which included a former Nomad bikie and a man known to police.

There were conflicting reports if the group were friends with Norman or Paulo. There was a suggestion the group had treated the players to a dinner as a show of appreciation for allowing them to attend the players’ sheds after Monday night’s game.

But Parramatta officials were quick to point out their dressing-room policy, and that would not have happened.

Eels board member Geoff Gerard refused to comment about the Norman incident when approached by The Daily Telegraph at the back of Pirtek Stadium.

He wanted to see all the details before he formally commented. He added he did not want to bother the players or coaching staff on a game day, and with so much on stake on the field against Melbourne.

It’s NRL policy to never confirm who, when or where drug testers will surface, but it’s understood Norman will not be missed.

The last time the Eels were tested was earlier this month. It just happened to be the same morning NRL boss Todd Greenberg made the trip to the western suburbs to break the news to the players about the he salary cap breaches.

The Instagram photo that appeared of the players also included former senior bikie Pauli Younan and accused money launderer Rafat Alameddine.

It’s been reported Alameddine is the older brother of Talal Almaeddine, who is currently in Goulburn Supermax after being charged with supplying the gun used on Curtis Cheng, an accountant who was killed at NSW Police HQ at Parramatta last year.

Coach Brad Arthur would have been deeply disappointed by the news, even though he did not let on as much during a Sunday press conference. Arthur joked a week earlier there had not been a pre-match press conference this season that did not feature an off-field issue.

On Monday night Norman was reunited in the halves with Kieran Foran, who was returning after a three-week stint in a Queensland rehabilitation clinic for personal issues.
