Croker gets first shot because of how much the playing group love Jackson Hastings.
Fair point that, and despite the fact he might actually be the better of the two.

And why we let Gutherson go to Doesn'tmatta.Multiple serious injuries at a young age is often the reason.
That's why the Eels let David Williams go. And Hodkinson too, for that matter.
Gosiewski may be a similar case.
We have a good history with ex-raiders players, hope it continues. If all the stories about how Croker has been having a huge preseason are true, then he deserves the first crack.
I'd prefer Hastings but I'm keen to see how Croker goes. I wouldn't trust the Raiders to get the best out of a young player much more than I'd trust the Knights to.
Ben Kennedy, Michael Monaghan, Michael Robertson all good.We have a good history with ex-raiders players, hope it continues.

Nice story . Thank you for sharingUsed to watch him play when I was 8 or 9. After he retired he owned the BP station at Wheeler Heights shops, right across the road from out grounds, St Mathews Farm. He had a seriously nice Mustang and used to roll up to watch our A grade home games sometimes.
It went full circle.
Was a nice guy and always told me I was going good.
Memories.
Damn you are right! 39 Games for us and 89 for the Raiders. I was kinda right....after so long....ahh forget it..Carey was a Lakes United, Newcastle junior. He played for the Graders post-Manly.
Arthurson had high hopes for Carey when he signed him. Sadly he didn’t quite achieve the heights expected.Damn you are right! 39 Games for us and 89 for the Raiders. I was kinda right....after so long....ahh forget it..
