Kelma Tuilagi

Pleased that Tuilaga has been showing good form recently [ even though i haven 't seen any of his recent games ] Liked what i noticed with his playing style earlier in the season , apparently a bit off the pace prior to the past couple of weeks but looks to have the making of a good and astute signing for Manly . Going to miss Davey so opportune time for a good replacement naturally and also on present indications , again sure hope that Schuster can step up next season if he is vying for the 6 role . Only other option again may be Weekes and then not sure what role for josh unless he can up his form level a bit in whatever role . .

Confirmation from the man himself:

Meanwhile, Tuilagi, who was arguably the Tigers’ best in the first half during the 26-16 loss to Melbourne, revealed he had taken up a three-year deal with the Sea Eagles.

The hard-running Samoan met with Manly officials at his western Sydney home on November 1 - the first day rival clubs could officially approach him - and wanted to be the first to break the news to Maguire.

“I took a three-year deal with Manly,” Tuilagi said. “[Manly recruitment manager] Scott Fulton said I’d have to work hard for my spot at Manly, but they saw something in me and I’d be a starting back-rower if I came over. I still need to fight for that spot.

“The Tigers offered me two years. I wanted to let Madge know once I signed with Manly. The week I went to tell him, he had COVID - so I had to wait another seven days before I told him face to face.

“He was shocked and told me he was confident I’d stay. I told him I was only focused on the Tigers and not Manly for this year. He told me I had worked my arse off over the pre-season, he liked what he had seen, and I got that starting opportunity on the weekend.”

Seriously people just read from back the start of this thread and you’ll see Kelma is signed for next year. Goldfish.

All I want to know is were the magnificent 7 consulted before this signing and will he wear the pride jersey next year
Wonder if he is related to the tuilagi family that weirdler talks about today? If so he should have no problem with acceptance.

Doing a proper consultation with the players first to make sure they are comfortable and happy to play with him.
Yes... they will need to discuss with Aloiai first it seems and he will negotiate with the rest of the Boycott 10 to identify if they will allow him to sign with Manly. They are apparently undertaking background checks to make sure Tuilagi has no rainbows on his social media accounts, rainbow colours on any of his clothing in any online photos and they are getting assurances that he has never looked at a rainbow!

They should forget this bloke and give his money to Croker and bring a kid up.

He never run the ball in the first 32 minutes, I guess he will cut down our dry cleaning bill.

We should grab Douehi too, he could wear a dinner-suit to play in and go straight to the restaurant after the match.

edit: i have been to harsh here.

TBH guys, I'll preface what I'm saying by also confirming he IS a bit of a tackle machine ! 24 tackles last night, but he IS normally around the 30 mark.
