I like to see them do it when the chips are down and you cant win.
No one ever told Watmough or Gifty they needed to have a go. Not that he should be compared to them, but Lawton and Davey are of the same ilk.
I am happy to put it down to a bad team performance last night but it would of been nice if he had shown some fight like Naden, Laurie and Garner.

After seeing our surrender yesterday, and the Tugger's new $78M Centre of Excellence, I wouldn't blame him if he backflips. At least the Tugger's have put plans in place for a revival.

Got a feeling he'll be a good buy, players of this sort usually benefit from a change of clubs. When your teams running last with a few games to go it's hard to keep up your level of enthusiasm that you had at the start of the season.

I hope he backflips. I don’t rate him. He is solid and capable of playing the odd decent game but Manly need to rethink their recruitment. We’ve got such a **** forward pack. We don’t need anymore inconsistent impact style players.

I agree that that stylistically there are better fits
Curious what mould of players/ forwards people may think we require?
(Not having a crack - just genuinely curious)...
With an explosive powerful Olakau'atu on one side I'd be looking at a hardworking line running Liam Martin, Jon Bateman type type on the other.
Oooft wouldn't Bateman be the player for us
I think I read somewhere that Bateman wants to come back to Australia. He would be a good get.
