This squad has been playing together in the lower grades for a few years now, im sure there is plenty of comradery between them. They all seem like goers.

Do not really mind how we go in the second half hopefully the game stays close.

And Cooper Johns has been really good. He's taken control of a lot of our play and done it with skill and a calm demeanour. Great addition for our depth, could yet be a No. 14 option.

Wow hard not to be impressed with Fifita.
GCKT looks very sharp and powerful
Burbo, Bully and Fainu strong.
Cooper will be a good back up

Well it is a trial game so fans may as well use it as a trial too.I especially enjoy reading those that go straight into panic mode and declare the wooden spoon is heading Manly’s way

Bully looking great more involved hitting hard
Fifita gee if he keeps that up he will be playing 1st grade in no time ,very impressive
Ray great carries looks like George going for the line
Fletcher some nice touches
Trevor looking much more comfortable
Jake Toby a little gravel and diamnonds but alot of potential
GKCT revelation might be too big a word, but gee once those Souffs guys tired a bit unstoppable and then running the FRs onto ball really well
Johns looks ok ,I dont know if he can keep it up all season but some really nice touches and only one or two errors
Fainu lookinh good ,not as good as Fifita but still good
Zac busy which is what you want from a back rower
Probably missed a few but anyway ,lets hope we can go on with it and no injuries

We have not had any impact from our forwards over the past few seasons. Players like Quac, Fifita, Faniu look like modern day athletes that can bend the line and run hard.

Early days of course, but at least the young squad we have look promising

Really pleased with that. Had the potential to go sideways once Souths opened up a lead, so they did very well to get back into the game and go into the sheds two points up.

Like the look of Gordy CKT at half - pretty good service overall and a great running game. Fletcher Myers has also done some good things. Really nice hands. And Fifita's leg speed has been very impressive.

For Souths, Taafe is always classy and their five-eight has been very handy as well.
