Finally a “ normal “ off season

What about kids born with (or who develop) absolutely horrific, life-limiting disabilities then? That’s got nothing to do with the community, or anything ‘set up’ by people. Sure, some birth defects are linked to poor choices on the parents’ behalf, but plenty are not - they’re biological stuff-ups that nobody can foresee or control. Ditto babies and kids (not to mention adults) who develop, for example, invasive brain tumours that either ruin their lives (and potential) or cut them short. If the best of modern medicine can’t help you, self-belief certainly can’t. Self-belief is only worth a pinch of **** if you’re already equipped with the means and opportunity to achieve your potential - and that’s assuming you have the potential in the first place.

I’ve already said I don’t believe in God - but if you do, then who else can you possibly blame for birth defects, disabilities, and life/potential-limiting diseases that humans have no say in or control over?!
There's nothing there that can't be solved with a few motivational posters and some more time at the gym 😉

Well until this **** it was the most normal pre season we’ve had in years , but yes I’ll admit I did forget..........it’s Manly!!!!!

Bye Dylan, don't need someone like you at the club. How ****ing thick are these footballers.

^ lol. Must admit, I thought of that the other day.

Also, to be fair to @Mark from Brisbane , a few years ago we were told about information only being deemed acceptable if it was deemed 'official'. Seeing as Mark's thread didn't have official in the title, he can't be held accountable!

As an aside.... I remember taking that bait regarding the official status - hook line, etc etc

If God wanted us to be fair to @Mark from Brisbane he wouldn't have created the PPC or appointed a Moose as his advocate ....

I have a very sick person in the family and it is diagnosed as biological . So you are talking to the right person that is empathetic .
This has not made me bitter against the world or God . I accept that in this life no one is born perfect and we will all die with some biological disease . The Christian faith in which the world celebrates this month has taught those that have faith and believe that there is more to this imperfect life on earth . There is eternal life for those that chose to believe .
Wether one believes or not they all have put their faith to their future .
In time we will all face the truth

Eternal life for christians that sin and by any metric, waive their right to eternal life?

What about all the devout Christian clergy who devoted their life to god, but also to little kids?

Do they get a spot in the afterlife? I guess if you repent and maintain your faith, you still deserve a spot in heaven?

Bollocks.
