Despite the fact it’s way too late to be playing international cricket not was played to a zero crowd and honestly it was absolutely terrible.

League games are going to be very very ordinary with no one there.

They're reporting the f1 may not resume to June. Moto GP till May.

I know ive already decided to skip the rd4 game here in Canberra as its not worth the risk (plus its an away game, so screw the raiders back pockets).

Honestly, I reckon they'll suspend the season next week and start again in April if things improve. The clubs will become vocal. Plus 34 guys essentially hugging (yes, tackling) is a great way to spread it. What happens if a whole team is out for a week (side note, I think that is unlikely).

Like MFB said, look at the cricket today. Warner hit a 50 and didnt even know it. Shows the importance of crowds.

Also sports keep talking about 'delays'. If we suspend the season, we will have to shorten it. We already play till October, and the heat will become a factor. 1-3 weeks, sure, but 2 months, might as well play 16 rounds.

They already said as of round 2 the fans will be shut out for player safety. The games will go on in front of empty stadium. Hopefully they add crowd vocals to the games on tv because it's going to be very very weird without them.

Premier League now suspended for four weeks just like the NBL on accounts of players at one club confirmed as having cv. I guess it's 14 days isolation for everyone in that team / club at a minimum.

With 16 teams travelling every weekend- airports hotels where u never catch the flu across Oz and Kiwiland (it's in Queensland). is it inevitable this season is getting suspended?

Could we see an entire reserve grade team called up to fill the void?

With the games continuing, yet played in an empty stadium, the virus will have a Massive impact on the game....
The teams will find it hard to sustain the energy and motivation the crowd adds and the home ground advantages will be taken away...to a large extent.
The NRL will likely recall crowds by rd 7-8 (provided the virus is reduced enough by then), which will by that time have a few teams who have maintained intensity in these games and a few who don't, so this period WILL have a huge influence on the outcome of the season, as it will help decide the Top 8.
