The club will announce that they have purchased tables and chairs for Narrabeen as well as employed a cleaner so that barrett can finally get down to the job of coaching the team for the first time in 3 years

Whilst we are frustrated to no end with this uncertainty, how would players feel knowing they have absolutely no idea who they'll be walking back into preseason with as coach? When Penn came out in The Daily Telegraph he essentially said it was untenable, yet now because no settlement can seem to be reached, there is a chance Barrett will walk back in come November.

We'll have a coach that doesn't want to be here and a club that don't want him here. Good times...

In all seriousness, could this be the 'big' news? That Barrett and the owners have reconciled their differences and that Barrett is going to remain at the club (maybe even past mid-season). It actually wouldn't surprise me.
