I haven't noticed Brett around the playing group in quite some time. Is he still involved part-time with the coaching staff? Post-Game Discussion Penrith V Manly [Round 14, 2024]
If only we had defensive line speed and purpose like Penrith do. We only do it once every six games or so. They rush up...leaves us with little go forward. If these rumours of an ownership change do have substance....why would we need to look "outside" for a new coach? If the Penns were no longer owners, I really don't see why URM or anyone else would not opt for the chance to put the Manly...back into Manly...and either perhaps Toovey or Hasler...- decadeofdominance

Smith is definitely a polarizing figure unless you support Melb/Qld, and yes, a protected species as far as Refs go. Kiwi Tooves
My 40+ years as a Manly devotee suffered a huge denting when Tooves was shafted. To be honest I've been unable to fully regain that unbridled devotion. Maybe one day.
