Also Gift is completely gutted that he won't be a 1 club player and other players are upset at this as well. Dce isn't exactly bargaining in Peak form, I really don't see the point in asking for even more of the pie when it only weakens the team that surrounds you. Is it dce or his manager forcing the issue, I thought he wasn't negotiating till next year?

Why would you bother passing on information that is not fact. I too know a source and I can tell you for a FACT DCE is not getting a cent more this year or next year. He is not the reason Gifty is leaving more to do with back ending and market value as determined by the NRL. Which players are having their salaries reduced according to your source? (Preferably with a touch of fact) I have only read of re-signings and upgrades.

I'm sure he is but unless things became untenable ( and maybe they did ) why sign so early in the season for another club then, a club that just happens to play in the same comp as your best mates and brother and for serious coin, a club that will expect you to take on the role of His Royal Burgessness - to be public enemy no 1.

Could do what Beaver did, hang out in France, play some footy, show 'em how it's done without getting busted and forever be untouchable.

Dont worry Trev, These so called sources can say all they like, however no one other than the player and the managers know how much any player is getting. And to assume that these blokes get annoyed at each other because they think someone might be getting more money, is an insult to them as they are professionals. Players dont do their own negotiations for good reason. Some of these guys have been sucked in by the player managers and their puppets in the media.

We are playing badly because Gift, Ballin, Buhrer are injured and Kingy is on his last legs. We lost a thousand years of finals experience since the semis last year. And we have gone through 3 hookers in 2 weeks after having the same hooker everyweek for six years. Its not difficult to figure out whats wrong. This contract crap is a distraction to the real issue of injuries and loss of finals regulars like Kite.

Wake up and stop getting sucked in by the media and your bbq sauces Strone. Players dont need to be bum chums to win a comp.
