Appreciate that. Each to their own
Good response with no belittling name calling because someone else doesn't agree with your line of thinking. It's a pity that some others couldn't take a leaf out of your book and do the same.

8 of those debuted with manly and are the core players I spoke of. As for box head hall lestrange and Robertson where all unwanted and we made them.
These players that we got may have been unwanted from their clubs but they were much better than what we had on our roster .
These players were reliable and consistent performance and they made our top 17 their own.
We never had mediocre Manly players in any of our premiership winning teams .

Shane Rodney?

Shane Reliable Rodney .
When a tackle HAD to be made
Who your gonna call ???
Shane Reliable Rodney !!!
When a hard run out of your line had to be made
Who your gonna call ???
Shane Reliable Rodney !!!
When it is all said and done, he was a an average/mediocre player 😉

One thing is certain for me in this one. I'd be very disappointed to see Blake Green go. His experience, coolness in game, and leadership for our very young roster is completely under rated. That said, if it were to secure him a huge contract at The Warriors, one of Moylan, Pearce or Wright I'd be completely satisfied with.

Piss on one side of the ruck and DCE on the other...that's a dangerous proposition. I reckon we could go close to winning it next year with him. He really knows how to put edge runners into holes, will take the line on, and he plays uptempo which I think was an issue for Manly at times last year. There were stages where we just trundled forward or shifted the ball side to side in our attacking 20m zone. Piss is sharp and direct and his tempo should pull the rest of the team along with him.

All good can't see it happening. First we were told Moylan that was all hot air than Thompson and now Pearce I think we will be fronting up with what we have.

Well if it’s not Thompson but is Pearce we def won’t know until #nextweek

Wednesday is the 1st, that’s day 1, 10 days later is the first we will know.

In fact it’s not #nextweek it could be the #nextweek or maybe even the #nextweek after that.

I’m going overseas on the 11th, hope it’s all done and dusted by when I come back on the 4th of December.

Sounds like a sweet as scenario ......................but aint happening. I can't see us getting Pearce!

Let’s face it , we probably have who we have and a few under 20’s who have moved into the 30 players we now select.

Anyone else would just be a bonus.

I think of players that i didnt want at manly and craig Field is the only one that i can say didn't work out . I wasn't to unhappy to see the back of him . Pearce

Thats one thing i didnt go much on green, his lack of urgency or taking the game by the scruff of the neck when needed . If the team went to sleep he tended to go quiet as well , sorry not good enough. Good player but leader nooooooo.
