Remind me why or gown he is abusing his power by trying to protect the site? This is a place that encourages respectful dialogue/ disagreement but still needs to follow some rules in order to stay open.

I guess the choice is always yours.

Indeed the choice is mine presently (until one of our thin skinned mods gives me the anticipated permanent holiday under the pretense of "protecting the site")....................

Currently I'm starved of Rugby League chatter (and more importantly Manly Sea Eagles chatter) and some posters on this site post some interesting views, gossip etc.... (don't get a warm fuzzy feeling inside .........you and SER8 are definately not amongst them)

My opinion on that bit of moderation remains........and I'm comfortable with it!

I’ve always thought that different views and opinions are fine , I don’t have to agree with them so I either laugh, make a funny comment or take the piss out of them.

A good example is my old mate Stronnie @strone33 , who talks some absolute **** at times.

Do I get angry about it?

Nup, just have a laugh at their expense and continue taking the piss!

At times on here people take other people WAY too serious!

PS: this comment not aimed at anyone in particular , just anyone who gets a bit of the “ off season feral “ on!!

Lighten up, enjoy the world , go fishing ( sorry had to get that in somewhere ) , have a shag ( if not there are alternatives ), have a beer, go for a run anything but getting agro on social media.

Oh and , “ have a nice day”.

Haha very very good Mark.

Who wouldn't want to have a beer and go fishing with this bloke (MFB) let me ask you ?

Nothing like it , talking ****, drinking beers AND trying to catch a fish ( trouble is the little ****ers don’t want to be caught sometimes, don’t they know I just want to eat them!!!).

If anyone comes along we might even talk the Manly talk as well.

For your reference here is the 2008 team that had the Manly culture. Make of it what you will however I think to much is made about buying players and club cultures. Cultures will change from team to team. Its about having a good culture and one that makes you want to play for each other. Nothing stays the same.
The players marked with * are what could be considered as marquee signings and there is quite a few in that team.
Well said feathered friend . This bull**** about buying players and replacing the existing weak links is bad for moral is a lot of crap.
What builds moral and wins premierships is building the most dominant playing group .
Every body loves a winner and success breeds comradery
The winning motto is ....
Its shape up or ship out as the mighty Manly Sea eagles sail all the way to another premiership win . There is no place for weak links in a premiership winning team .
NRL is no place for sentiment or soft cock decisions .

No disrespect man but rugby league is a results driven business . Im one of the biggest Pearce critics there is and really can't stand the bloke, but im also a realist and that tells me if we snagged him it could go along way to pushing for the title , maybe more so with the Thompson signing. Lets face it the bastard at club level can play and is always in the top 3 of the roosters best week in week out. Cringe to say it but id be pretty excited about it .
I just love your win at all costs attitude feathered friend .
WIN WIN WIN WIN WIN WIN WIN WIN WIN
GO THE MIGHTY SEA EAGLES !!!!

8 of those debuted with manly and are the core players I spoke of. As for box head hall lestrange and Robertson where all unwanted and we made them.

Had you provided a third option I would have voted , but I’m neither a YES or a NO.

I’m a “ meh if it happens it happens”.

But I can see your side of the story!

The real manly fans want what's best for manly. Pearce is the best for manly
