This is great news for our club - we all know the respect we all hold for Tooves as a player and coach!

I might say that this was discussed at a Members Council with Lyall late last year- he took the action to engage with Tooves. I am not sure if this directly led to Tooves being back on board but your feedback was certainly provided.

Also I have read over the years that a number of people would not rejoin or become a Sea Eagles member until Tooves was back with the club - no more excuses you can now give the club a call and join 02 9970 3000 and ask for the membership team!

I wonder if Tooves could also fill in for DCE over the next month? We need a good half back!

Manly's Round 14 home game against St George-Illawarra Dragons on Sunday 16 June will be a special community focused URM Environmental Round where the team will wear unique URM community jerseys to celebrate the ongoing commitment of URM and the Sea Eagles to the Northern Beaches community.

As part of this they are giving away free kids tickets to the remaining home games (from Rnd 8) if anyone is interested.
