It’s quite confusing, as I see it we need a partner for Daly,someone who has vision & can read the game, good kicking game, goal kicker........ Carney ? No we are possibly chasing Ben Barba, very good fullback. If the Cowboys pick up Carney it’s our loss. I thought the NRL must have said no to Carney’s registration. Confused.

It has been reported twice, once here early on and now in the media, that our board has snuffed Baz's want to sign him.
It appears the NRL have not been approached with a contract to sign him.
Who knows the REAL truth and i'm expecting another twist before it's over.

With all his shortcomings, he APPEARS to WANT redemption and a player of his natural talent, in the right frame of mind, regardless of age, could blow this thing wide open with the guys that would be around him.
A wildcard, but I believe he would be what we need right now and add to what the guys not quite ready need to learn.
There are at least 20 guys playing NRL that have done far worse sh#t than him. There are probably that many guys who assault women.
I don't give a damn about his over-hyped past indiscretions, I want what's best for our current and future premiership aspirations.
