Hello my feathered friends.

After a few years of reading I'm finally going to post something....no better place than in this thread that seems eternal.

I live quite close to Des and try to give him the finger whenever I see him, always with a smile on my face though.

Welcome mate !! Keep posting - the more the merrier 🙂

Isn't Foz's old man loaded. This "i have to do the best for my family" is a load of BS.

Maybe it's a contest between DCE and Foz to see who gets the biggest offer.

just get it over and done with,us fans have had enough, make a decision so we can all move on one way or the other,I dont want another year like last year,or the year before, and so on,how much money do they need

Well at least Foran is not replying with A-Grade Tosser comments such as.

"Enjoying the process of contract negotiations"(love the feeling of being loved with all these offers and entertaining my self absorbed ego in my spare time)

"It's not in a position to move forward quickly" (Enjoying the long process of seeing clubs out bid each other and it is happening so often why let it stop now, or "I'm worth a hell of a lot more than that even though my performances and current standing as a player have been helped out by a club full of internationals hush hush"

"And i have learned from previous years being a free agent" (Yes i have really nailed down management speak so well this time around i can see myself starting a sports management company in the near future")

I think we are in the box seat to keep Foran if you go off the two latest articles. Pearce has publicly stated that he wants Maloney at the club moving forward, and when you consider that Maloney comes cheaper than Foz, the Roosters will probably work on strengthening other areas of their roster.

Foz has also stated that he is very comfortable living on the Northern Beaches and it would be a big call to pack the family up; that just about rules out the Warriors. So our biggest threats are the Eels and the Dogs...the good news is the travel from Manly to anywhere over the bridge is a nightmare. Foran will have to make a lifestyle decision with a baby in the family. The hours he spends commuting to a **** hole in Western Sydney can be spent with his family.

I think he has decided to make a decision sometime reasonably soon. So yup, seems like things are starting to happen.

Can't see that happening, and if it does, there is defiantly something really wrong with our club at present.

Although Tookey you post like you may know a little more than most, do you?

Nah just stirring the pot.

Can't wait for this Wednesday though as it is supposedly the day Foran announces he has signed with the eels according to the parra fan website.

I don't think there is anything with our club if we can't keep either of them, there is ridiculous money being thrown at them from clubs all over the place.
I'm sure whatever offer we make to keep BOTH would be fair and reasonable, then it's up to the players to either make a lifestyle choice or go for the cash, Ronnie Gibbs went for the cash and in the end never got it.

Whatever will be will be, if Foran goes we will keep DCE for sure and the money saved can go to buying a bigger name forward, I'm comfortable with that.

I love Fozzies passion and that would be missed, but regardless life go on.

It's almost 10am ( well down your neck of the woods ) and all we have is a 3 million offer on the table for DCE from the Titans.

Ho hum another day in Manly paradise

Remember this crap from the Maggot Media
Jun 14, 2013 - Fears have been held about Lyon leaving the club since the Titans offered $2.8 million over four seasons.
Jamie is still here feathered friends LOL

Two years ago the Titans were 25 million in debt. I'd be inclined to remind DCE of that...
"THE Gold Coast Titans' dire predicament has become even grimmer, with accountants telling the ARL Commission they owe $25 million and that the debt is not confined to the organisation's property arm but is intertwined with the football club."....so they're debt free now?

I wonder whether all this DCE stuff is making Foz feel like a second banana... Hopefully the club is showing him some love.

I also feel like if 950K is what it takes for one, then we can do 2M a year for both and be fine with a 6.5M cap, especially with Matai, Snake and then Killer coming off over the next 3 years
