So many pages could someone post a tl;dr? Facts only or is it all just rumors
cliffs:

- rumour that Foran is going to sign with the Dogs
- apparently he met with Des this morning, an anonymous caller, called triple m to say this.
- forum implodes
- a few nice visits from rambofan and other trolls add more spice to the thread.
- nothing confirmed yet

That is a summary of this whole thread

(not) Voicefromthehill..

Without another sky is falling type thread. I really hope what VoicefromthehillI posted the other day rings true.

If fozzie does sign with Canterbury buystown l can handle that, it happens. What I can't stand is the shady, underhanded dealings adopted by Greenberg and hasler. And VoicefromthehillI posted that the club had a bomb to drop blowing the lid on the whole sordid affair. These secret handshakin' m...f...ckers need to be exposed for the unethical, backdooring, shyster lowlifes they are.

Retribution shall be sweet, and I only hope the club has got armour piercing ammo, and there is some serious consequences for their brand of "business"

RE: Foran - Will he ? Won't he ?

Hey ceagle, what made you so confident a couple of days ago he wasn't going anywhere? What does your source have to say about the recent developments?

Im still holding on to the hope that we ain't losing him...

What recent developments. Some anonymous toerag rings a radio station to say he saw 2 guys having coffee. Johns and his constant stream of wrong information blows about it on radio and then we get Weirdler adding his no idea 2 cents to it. Nothing is confirmed till it is announced by the player or club so people need to get real here and get a life. If he goes we replace him just like we did with Dogkinson. If he stays then great. Life goes on kids.

Being rational can be boring Ceagle.
I heard that when Foran met with Des, Mr. Hasler was stroking a skinless cat and planning total world domination, beginning with pushing Tooves and anyone else associated with the Sea Eagles into liquid hot magma.

RE: Foran - Will he ? Won't he ?

Yeah developments was the wrong word, should have gone with rumourmongering.

Geez I hope tooves says the right stuff, if massords tweet was accurate, about them having a final chat this weekend.

Be a shame to lose such a great halves pairing so quickly after they were formed.

Des to KF: I'm prepared to offer you 10 million dollars and a freakin' laser beam!

Not trolling on here, just a few things though.

guys , if it was me i would need a good reason to leave the northen beaches & head to belmore. $$$$$$$$$$$ thats it !!! i know we love loyalty , but dollars are dollars , if he feels his making 250k more over 3-4 yrs well.... lets be realistic, how many players wont take it ( a low percentage if any )
It's actually the same way I feel as a Dogs fan about SBW. Sure he crapped all over our club, but at the end of the day money puts food in your mouth, makes your lifestyle more comfortable, and gets you more desireables in life.

People are kidding if they wouldn't go elsewhere for the same work and more money.

That said though a good boss is hard to find. If Foran leaves, perhaps he has a better working relationship (employee > boss) with Hasler than with Toovey.

please someone point out to me , how he will benefit at belmore becoming a better player ???
Belmore have a state of the art "centre of excellence" (god I hate using that word). Basically though very, VERY new and state of the art training rooms, sprint tracks, steam rooms, etc..

Players benefit from good equipment and the latest and greatest.

Having done a tour through there and doing personal training with a trainer, even I could appreciate how impressive it would be to train there.

In addition the Dogs have a few halves coaches they can call on. I believe Johns is/was working with the club at one stage, and then there is Dymock and Terry Lamb.

Just on this... and I'll be brief. Remember there was a big hoohah made about this by the Manly club, with talk of them suing Hasler, etc etc? Notice that went very quiet and nothing more was said?

From what I've heard on the ol' grapevine, the emails do not exist, and it was put out as a media release to attempt to appease fans that the club was doing something about the situation.

I could be wrong, but my source is sound and it makes sense as to why they wouldn't have already launched legal action against Bulldogs club and Hasler (which could really upset our coaches season).

The Digital girl that left Jess has tweeted a lot about the traveling so I guess The arsehole has the same probs, they don't think that the traveling adds anywhere from 2 to 4 hours to their days

Depends, I love hopping in the car, turning on the tunes, putting the window down and going for a drive.

btw who is Keirans manager
Gavin Orr @ Pacific Sports Management.

He manages Liam & Kieran Foran and Steve Matai for Manly, but also Ben Barba and Mitch Brown for the Dogs.

RE: Foran - Will he ? Won't he ?

Puts hand up. I merged the 2 threads & might have merged it the wrong way. Left hand didnt know what the right was doing. Good thing im not at acting dummy half then eh.

RE: Foran - Will he ? Won't he ?

Something to think about

I wonder how riccardi is feeling about all this. IMO he should be the effective successor in the unfortunate event fozza jumps ship.

That's true, I mean the Bulldogs' record speaks for itself.

RE: Voicefromthehill

Lets just sit down for a second, think about this, and try to have a rational conversation instead of a mudslinging affair.

I'm a Dogs supporter to get it clear and in the open, and I'd be ashamed of my club IF allegations of the like were found to be true, but I have absolute confidence they are not. Here's why...

Do people HONESTLY believe that Greenburg and Hasler are trying to tear Manly apart?

Why would they bother? What would they gain from it?

I really think the conspiracy theories need to stop. Greenburg is an excellent CEO and a VERY good businessman. Anger and abuse only comes from jealousy.

Do you think he'd risk his (and the clubs) reputation and his career as some form of master plan against the Manly club?

And why would he? Who does he care as long as the Bulldogs club is running well and making money (which is primarily his job to oversee). He does this VERY VERY well, was well respected as a businessman when working at ANZ, and has been sounded out by other sporting organisations as a "want to have" person in their company.

Perhaps the answer of all the goings on is not Greenburgs master plan, but problems from the otherside of the fence and a want for people to "have someone to blame" when things happen.

How can you call it unethical handshaking if a club approaches a player (or vice versa), who is off contract soon and offers them a contract term? That's not shady, it's Rugby League contract discussions.

Had a magna at one stage, later a corolla. Recently got a Falc, goes great but just cost over $600 to fix a busted light switch. Who would've thought that?

RE: Voicefromthehill

What makes Greenberg such a great administrator? What have the Dogs won since he's been there, beside the wooden spoon?
It's obvious that the Dogs envy all that Manly has achieved, and are trying to replicate it. What a sad club Canterbury has become. Once they were admired as ' the entertainers', the ' family club', sticking by its players and coaches, bred not bought . . .
Ha. Fancy having to support a club that has turned its back on such a proud past.

Why are you here ????I don't get it.
Anyway That's why SBW played for the dogs cause that was a dog act , the way he did it what he did but it couldn't happen to better a club. You lose your best player cause of the state of the art equipment didn't seem to be good enough for a great athlete , so few years later you guys want to try to buy a title
Old saying - cheaters never prosper

RE: Voicefromthehill

He approached des a year and a half out from the end of his contract. You are e a rich club with good facilities because if your pokie playing demographic and political electorate respectively. It's pretty obvious des resigned older , non critical players after he knew he was going to tie up Manlys cap and I'm sure greenberg was privy to this manoeuvring and starting to strategize your cap .

And you, well you're just a friendless dude posting on another teams forums trrawling for any kind of morsel to go back and feed to the guys on your forum who are desperately waiting to hear that you have finally bought a decent player. its kinda pathetic.

Besides what else do you expect to read on a manly forum apart from current affairs to do with our club and supporters opinions on those affairs.. Don't like the opinions you read, don't read, don't post, rack off.

Your faux diplomacy and constant pontificating are tiresome. And the way you project yourself is the most narcissistic sincerity I've ever seen.

I don't exoect you to understand this post, you don't even know what fairweather means.

I don't care if you liaise with dan or not. You are not her for any other reason than to get a reaction and go back and tell dogs fans how rude we are for objecting to your presence on our forum.
