The "I miss T-Rex" Thread

I'm sure he will cop a pounding again, but he has had more of a dig than any other 2nd rower in that pack tonight

There are far bigger problems in that team than Williams

Honestly, it looks like he hasn't turned up to any training sessions and is completely lost on the park. Mind you, the dogs plays are predictable and are easily being countered, but Mr Tinman Williams is either too far in front of the play, or too far off the play. Poor guy, it is like no one has told him the plays they are executing and it is by sheer fluke he even ends up with the ball.

Been a while since I checked The Kennel for their T-Rex insights, here is another top quality one

why is Williams not on the bench...he actually was too tired to fall over the try line...sad days.

Des won't drop him. He'll be loath to admit he's made a mistake , it would ruin his super coach aura. Unless TRex gets suspended or injured Dogs fans will have to get used of seeing him out on the field every week.

Where to now Tony you bit of more than you can chew its only early but I cannot see a real lot of negotiating power at the table when your contract comes up in the future. No one likes a pay cut so I hope you invest whatever you get at the moment very wisely.

Talking of investments. It is like Des bought a bullet proof Bentley and after he had it delivered he saw there was a Suzuki 125 engine under the hood. His pride and blind loyalty won't let anyone know he bought something that looks awesome but has nothing on the inside.

He bought a dud investment.

For mine, the turning point in T-Rex's form was his back injury in SOO last year. Despite this, Manly showed T-Rex plenty of respect on Friday. They continually swarmed defensive numbers onto him. More than onto any other Dogs player.

This hatred thread is irrelevant. T-Rex is no longer Manly, and the Dog trolls are self-combusting without us needing to say or do anything.

Yes, the back injury. That is at the centre of the problems. If, as i have said many times on this forum, he ruptured back discs, which is the only explanation of how and why he went down in that SOO, and was down for a few minutes, well then, you never fully recover from those kinds of injuries. He is playing with limited mobility. If he wants to fix his back, properly, he has to give up rugby league.

in preparation for tonight; and in case people didn't want to dig too deep to find it. C'mon big boy, give us something to write about ;^)

That was a classic.

I'm sure She Rex would feel a little embarrassed by this. But I got a laugh out of it.

Any prospective bidder should contact the vendor and ask for photos, xrays, ct scans and mri scans of the lower back of the sale item.

Dasler61 will get negative feedback as a seller, if cant / refuses to provide the above.

I'd also like a mental health assessment to see why he seems to lack the confidence and aggression so needed in this sport.

Guy from work crying about T-Rex and saying same stuff as us. I told him he only has 3 years left at 600k!! He nearly fainted! lol

Let's face it, the decision to recruit She-Rex was a DESpicable one. The Dogs were the team least in need of a big forward - they already had the biggest pack in the comp (with the possible exception of Souffs).
We recruited at least four top players for the $600,000 (Lawrence, Horo, Symonds and Hasson) and still had some change left over for big George's lucnhes.
Thank you Canterbury. And next time remember, Gamble wisely!

I'd still have him back at Manly, for sure. On the cheap of course. It'd be great to see him come back here & tear it up playing for peanuts, The Kennel would be on suicide watch.
