I know you are a Maroon at heart but the last decade or more has been like no other in Origin history.

I remember reading about a decade ago that there was maybe 3 or 4 points difference in total scores since 1980, and the same difference in games won.

By the way I’d feel the same if all the wins were over on my side of the ledger!!

I just happen to believe that Origin is SO much better when it’s a toss of the coin at the start of each series as to which side could win!

I'm probably one of the very few on here that loves origin for the spectacle that it is. The quality of the footy. I can't wait for the next game, regardless of the result...it should be a corker! What makes me weak is when I read on here about these supposedly foaming at the mouth, origin crazed Qld maniacs that are looking for blood after the series loss. It's just not true from my view point. They don't exist. We're footy mad here in CQ, but we all knew this year was going to be a bad year in origin. Or a good one if you're like me and enjoy footy in general!!

Mostly everyone I know here had resigned themselves to a series loss before kickoff in game 1. Of course they still turn up and support and hope for the best, but really...I don't think there was Qlder I know that thought it was a sure thing. I guess that's how Blues supporters have felt for years. I haven't met one person yet that didn't at least half expect a bad result this year, and they just take it as it is. QRL and the origin coaches will be the same after game 3. There won't be any blame laid at DCE's feet if they lose the next game, and he will be applauded with the rest of the team if they win! The journo's will rile the feeble minded however with their lies and half truths...

You know...sometimes, when all you see is negatives, and everything you hear is antagonistic...when you are convinced you are surrounded on all sides by pricks, dickheads, tossers and losers....that's the precise moment you should have a really long hard and excrutiatingly honest look at yourself. There's a really good chance that you are the problem.

The only thing worse than a poor loser is a poor winner. If you try to rub it in out of spite, people will react, not so much due to the loss, but because you're being a dick. It seems to me, probably because of my Manly ties....that the classy thing to do is to congratulate a losing team on their efforts...then giggle yourself to sleep at night.

Not taking a direct swipe at anyone in particular...just saying that if you don't like the way some people seem to act...mimicking them is not just putting yourself in the same boat...it means you'll be doing all the rowing while they kick back and enjoy the trip (your anger).

What do eagles do?? We rise above it all and see things as they truly are. That's why we're better!!

I’ve admired the great Queensland sides of the last decade or so, never been seen before and probably won’t again in my lifetime anyway.

I laugh at the wankers on social media , who seem to forget at times that it’s just a footy game after all.

But, in saying that, I’m pleased it’s a little more even again.

And much like Manly has to do, Queensland will need to rebuild again and will go through some pain whilst they do.

As soon as Cronk/ Thurston retired and Scam deserted a sinking ship you just knew they’d struggle, so you were right on that front!

Just watched Chanel 7 news and they showed DCE’s arrival at Brisbane airport this morning, stupid ****ing journos wanting him to talk about “ the backflip” and how that’s likely to affect his relationship with his fellow players!!

He was polite and said “ no thanks guys I’m on my way to camp” but they hounded him all the way to the front door.

Inglis just short of back-flipped on the donkeys. He'd agreed to a handshake deal and then went to Souths for more $$$. He's not even from QLD but chose to play for them and they worship him.
