The Daly Cherrygraph

I don't see an organising 5/8 there, who's going to do the directing and the general kicking ??
This post is for the true Believes .......
Unless you are a true believer feathered friend you could not have seen the DCE selection and unless you are a true believer you can not see that adversity brings out the best in these two world class elite halves in DCE and Munster . Have you not seen DCE kick 40 20's ? Have you not seen DCE kick goals from the touch line ?
The moral of the story
BIG NAMES RISE IN BIG GAMES !!!

DCE must be stoked. I, like many thought his SOO career was done.

With all the QLD hate towards him coupled with like likes of Taylor, I thought they will overlook him. QLD are missing leadership.

His is the most experience QLD half available. Hunt chokes at rep levels, Milf is inconsistent and Taylor is still young (although so is cleary and look at him).

I hope he is the best player in a losing squad 😉

DCE the Phenomenal has it all . Running game , Kicking game and Passing game that lead to many tries and many Victories for his club , state and Country .
Stop what your doing and feast your eyes on our prized halfback .

You're right there Bozo. When he plays with a full time hooker and a decent 5/8, he's one of the best halfbacks in the game. We saw what a difference Fainu made to DCE's game last Saturday. Playing in that QLD spine will do him a world of good. I think he'll put in a MoM performance to win it for the maroons.

Good on ya DCE! Well overdue call up and I for one hope he has an absolute blinder. Should be a great motivator knowing if he gets them over the line he ‘should’ be first choice for 2019 (I know, queue the derision).

From a club perspective, if he does rise again to a permanent QLD fixture with another claim on an Australian spot, it starts to heal our drawing power to other players.

So true mate . We saw the difference that Trent made when he moved The mediocre Matt Wright jack of all trades and master of none out of hooker and finally gave the young gun Fainu a go and how DCE's game improved .
Trent is calling the shots and will be accountable for the clubs end of season standing.

I still think it’s a hiding to nothing and if they cop a hiding I bet you they will lay the blame fully on Cherry.

However, if by chance they win it will be a “ magnificent team effort”.

I just know how these pricks up here think, apart from personal satisfaction on his resume he has absolutely zero to get out of this!!

You are lying it on pretty thick Bozo.
Have a rest mate. Still 9 sleeps to go.
Dont blow too early.
There is a lot of passion on this site feathered friend . We are all fiery supporters and there is never a dull moment 😉

I think you'll find Fainu starting with Hodko on the bench for the rest of the season assuming Walker is fit. Had no choice at hooker with Wright and Brown being the only two players we had available to fill in at the time.

DCE is a champion . Champions thrive at the opportunity they are given and DCE has been waiting for this opportunity for a very long time . DCE will be primed up for a dynamic performance like a ripe Cherry in season . I know what DCE is capable of . We all have seen him dominate games and destroy teams on his own . The only thing that DCE has not done is walk on water and turn water into wine but there is one thing that he is totally capable of and that is turn the S00 series around for a QLD win .

Congratulations DCE!!!

If the maroons lose, they'll have plenty to blame other than DCE. Injuries, retirements, brain explosions etc. Qld are in a rebuilding phase right now, and judging by game 2...I don't think it will take that long to rebuild. For the blues to play in front of over 82 000 fans in Sydney with that young and enthusiastic team and only win by 4 points doesn't instill a great deal of confidence in me that they are on the verge of a dominant period in origin history.

Anyway...have a blinder Chez!!

He did have a choice when he named the Wrights and the Browns in the 30 man squad ahead of the up and coming young players .
At the end of the day when the team is not performing to expectations the coach is accountable
We will agree to disagree feathered friend .

And how good is it that either side could win again.

I know you are a Maroon at heart but the last decade or more has been like no other in Origin history.

I remember reading about a decade ago that there was maybe 3 or 4 points difference in total scores since 1980, and the same difference in games won.

By the way I’d feel the same if all the wins were over on my side of the ledger!!

I just happen to believe that Origin is SO much better when it’s a toss of the coin at the start of each series as to which side could win!

Congrats DCE well done. It's make or break time for our capt. He has to stand up here and prove he's a $mill player. I hope he plays a blinder but NSW win by 1pt.
