The Daly Cherrygraph

Inspite of the evidence to the contrary .......he brought a house in the Gold Coast .."he was outa here".......
I've never once heard him say he was doing it for Manly .......
His constant reply is......"he was doing it for his family".........I mean what else could he say
$1.3 mil a season because he loves Manly ??....seriously !!
On the halves issue ...in your own words Foran was even trying to get away from him.
Let's Face it since 2011 ..in 7 years he hasn't been able to work things out with his halves partner ????
There's a weird level of irony that he is now having to play with Walkz as his halves partner again.
His potential is at hooker.
I'm just waiting for Walters to make the call, TB got no guts to do it

He’d also not long finished building the family’s ‘dream home’ on the Beaches when the contract debacle happened. If I were rich I’d buy houses, not rent them, whenever I had to move for work reasons too. Fun fact - lots of professional sportspeople have extensive property portfolios (my current landlord is an NRL player, as it happens).

Not saying Penn and co are blameless. They most certainly carry a huge part of the blame. And iv said in other threads this will go down as the worst mistake/contract in our history.

But no one put a gun to his head to sign. Big contracts= big responsibility/accountability.

Geez, food for thought here. I just got a promotion and pay rise last week. Giving some thought to going back to the boss and saying “hey, I think that’s too much, how about we dial it back and keep that pay rise a bit lower?” /sarc

For fuc$s sake Woodsie, don’t ruin this by being reasonable...

And to answer your very reasonable question, no, no one has changed my mind. As I’m sure I haven’t changed theirs.

Which means.........I/we need to double down and argue harder, longer, maybe even incorporate name calling
Don't forget the memes. You can't make a perfectly reasonable argument without a page-long, highly relevant meme.

Ahhhh no. Again.
I’m in a job that if I fu$k up, there a very serious and real consequences, not easily replaced at all.

Hahahahahahahahahaha class and Moneyball Evans is the same sentence. Great stuff.

Anyone who thinks sitting 3rd last is acceptable and doesn’t lay any blame on the captain and highest money earner has no idea at all.

I go for fuc$ing MANLY, not Moneyball Evans. Until he steps up or is fuc$ed off I’ll be forever questioning his form and motives.

Can’t kick, can’t manage a team, can’t play. Moneyball Evans..

Have you actually seen Moneyball? The movie, I mean? Just that it’s kinda odd you’re using that term to stick the boot into someone for being what you view as overpaid, when the whole premise of the moneyball concept is getting championship results out of a bunch of undervalued, journeyman types - by assembling the right combination of them, as it happens. The irony is killing me every time I see the word in one of your posts!

Congratulations on the pay rise Yokahontas ( no sarcasm).

I personally knocked back a pay rise because it would mean less money for one of the guys on my team. Why? Because he’s a great member of the crew that didn’t deserve to lose hours.....
Sometimes it’s needs to be about the team, or in my case my work crew. But that’s just me..

Not in anyway saying that you didn’t deserve your pay rise or that you should have knocked it back.

Yes I have seen it ( good movie) and no I’m not actually referring to that..

DCE is going to absolutely kill it tomorrow night... the incessant criticism coming from the media, coupled with Ben Hunt’s ordinary game in SOO 2, has set the stage for a Cherry Masterclass. In terms of this thread... My only real gripe with Chez is his kicking game, he really needs to put some extra work in and learn some new skills. Meekly handing the ball back to the opposition on tackle five, doesn’t allow us to build any pressure.

If we are being realistic you can't be serious to think we will win tomorrow..if we get within 30 points then we will be doing well.

I really dope hope DCE kills it tomorrow but just can't see it happening

I am a lot more confident of a good performance against the 'Riff than I have been in recent weeks. With Walker at 5/8 we will be able to throw some attack at them.
I'm also hopeful Hodkinson will kick some goals for Blacktown as he replaces Hastings in reggies.

I think we’ll go very close tomorrow night. Penrith have some injury clouds, no RCG, and the players have been copping it in spades. Set up perfectly for an ambush.

Earlier tweet from Brent Read. Interesting to see if he’s on the money.

Reckon DCE can start getting ready for Origin return. Hearing he will beat Hunt for No.7 jersey but even if Maroons retain Hunt, Ponga hammy may mean DCE on bench. That said, expecting Hunt to be gone. Mbye could also come in contention for bench sans Ponga

I would have thought they would pick Ash Taylor ahead of DCE. I hope DCE does get the #7 as he does not deserve the treatment they dish out to him.

Sir Thomas Playford. Former long serving Liberal Premier of South Australia.

But that’s not important right now.

Sir Thomas Playford is still regarded even today as the best Premier we've ever had here in SA. John Bannon (Labor Premier from 1982-1992) might have been in that category also, especially after the role he played in getting Formula One to Adelaide, basically putting Adelaide and SA "on the map", but his role in the State Bank fiasco in 1991 where the bank went broke and it all fell on the state government because they had agreed to underwrite the banks loans killed any chance he had. It plunged us into a $3 billion debt that SA is STILL struggling to get out of in 2018.....

Really?
Will Qld fall into the same trap as NSW did for years & years - let's play blame the halfback.
They've lost the series but dropping Hunt won't really solve anything.
DCE deserves to be there but....
after the Milf's game tonight I'd say he's the replacement for Ponga

As much as I would be happy for DCE to get a representative return, in a way I hope they continue not to pick him. Not for any great help to Manly, but for the fact that if he did play he'd be on a hiding to nothing if Qld lost Game 3. Even though they have already lost the series, the mentality of those hillbillies would see a lot of blame and crap thrown his way for the whole shabang.

Besides, after the way they treated him, basically blaming him for 2014 and for black balling him and branding him a traitor after he decided to stay in Sydney with Manly rather than play for a Qld based club......they don't deserve his class.
