Way back, I learned that a contract was a legally binding agreement between two or more parties , where, for a consideration (typically $$$) from one party, the other party agrees to provide something in return. Gives rise to Offer and Acceptance.
Key here, is legally binding...
From memory, I recall that there were reasons that could be invoked to enable the contract to be overturned - one was if one of the parties misrepresented what they would bring to the deal... Insanity also figured - I think.
A six month cooling off period does seem a bit rich!

Chez etc have all signed contracts. But- NRL does not Register till 1 July .
So every Player - Sezer, Tedesco, Fifita.. can and do backflip.
Its all due to Clubs previously being able to 'release' players under contract.
Chez in fact is not reneging anything. He just has the right to have other Clubs offer him other contracts.
Thats why the TPAs can not be guaranteed by a Club. As the TPA would have been binding to a Club and not the Player

The Bulldogs pulled the Fifita offer, so I am pretty sure the contract is non-legally binding for both parties until rd. 13.

I honestly don't think Orr has leaked this, regardless of the Myles situation. He simply would not risk losing DCE as a client by further damaging Daly's reputation and using him as a porn in a game. It would be management suicide.

Not sure Fifita had actually signed a contract, I think it was more of an agreement, somehow I don't think the clubs can pull out of a contract, only the player can up to the final date.

I believe Ch 7 news stated DCE has not, nor will he reneg, on his agreement with the Titans so I can only assume it will be much of the same. I guess Max will only confirm this as Manly propaganda from an inside source, or should I say sauce.

Whether we deem it reasonable or not, Delmege is bitter, and does not want to see success under the current administration. This will be confirmation that no reneg is happening, and that the Manly administration is playing games....that's why Max wants us all to watch it...he is our George Piggins and would rather stroke his own ego, than see us successful again.
