Now Max Delmege is going 2 appear on channel 7 news with Massoud.

What a joke love what Max did for us but he loves publicity.
he is obviously going 2 have a dig at the club again.

Massive conflict of interest the games governing body owning a club no matter for how long.

The licence should have been sold to new owners as soon as the existing club was unable to continue

Look I agree that it should not be a long term situation. But I doubt there would have been someone ready to step in as soon the current structure could not continue. Do they just let the club become insolvent and not pay wages and creditors? They also need to be careful who takes over the club and do their own due diligence, they do not want another Tinkler situation.

Maybe he's kicking in the 3rd party payment :p

Nope Josh Massoud is on the opposite side 2 channel 9 he is now blaming the leak and saying it came from Manly and if DCE was thinking of back flipping he isn't now.

So Josh won't have anyone on who doesn't agree with his stance.

Scroll down 2 what he posted 18 hours ago https://twitter.com/josh_massoud

So he get's Max like how when the cricket team is struggling they drag out Neil Harvey 2 put the boot in

Don't know who at Manly would have leaked it, as the Z faction is the one who pulled the offer

Well Chez at least has been reminded how much the Manly Fans do value him :inlove:

We have 6 more weeks of this thanks to the NRL

This is a good point snake. Can the titans withdraw though? I thought only the player can pull out.

The only thing I could think is that if DCE has stated that he wants to stay at manly, and the manly board has actually already tabled an offer. Knowing it is lower than the Titans offer he is trying to force the titans to pay overs for myles.

Possibly the combined DCE/Myles offer that manly can offer works out to be the same as the titans.

Plus what stops Scott Penn paying Orr for his 'lost' commission if DCE pulls out.

What has been lost in this discussion is that its highly unlikely $CE has actually "signed" a contract.

Given the troubles at the tits, and full respect to their fans for not flooding this site with trolls - ala "doesntmatta", the volume of 3rd party deals plus the fact the NRL now has to sign off on everything! probably means a formal contract hasn't been completed.

There is undoubtedly a verbal agreement, and the only person who can walk away from it is DCE. That's the NRL rule that's going to **** up the NRL. Irony.

Contract wouldn't be registered till June anyway so I think it's not binding until that point.

I highly doubt the Titans would announce DCE signing without an actual signature on a contract.

If the titans had a verbal agreement, DCE doesn't sign with anyone, then the titans don't offer a contract, he is effectively unemployed in 2016.

DCE would have put pen to paper with the titans, but is well with in his rights to re-sign with manly instead (or anyone else for that matter).

Contract not valid until Round 13.

It doesn't matter if he's signed the contract or not. He can renege on any contract as long as it's done before round 13.

Way back, I learned that a contract was a legally binding agreement between two or more parties , where, for a consideration (typically $$$) from one party, the other party agrees to provide something in return. Gives rise to Offer and Acceptance.
Key here, is legally binding...
From memory, I recall that there were reasons that could be invoked to enable the contract to be overturned - one was if one of the parties misrepresented what they would bring to the deal... Insanity also figured - I think.
A six month cooling off period does seem a bit rich!

psau14, methinks you are on the money - but who would go through all this on the strength of a "Handshake"?
Has the NRL developed a claytons contract?

The Bulldogs pulled the Fifita offer, so I am pretty sure the contract is non-legally binding for both parties until rd. 13.

I honestly don't think Orr has leaked this, regardless of the Myles situation. He simply would not risk losing DCE as a client by further damaging Daly's reputation and using him as a porn in a game. It would be management suicide.

I'd suggest it would be a " heads of agreement" , a simple one page doc signed by both parties of their intention to enter into a contract.

With the NRL Round 13 clause that can just be scrapped prior to that date.

He might like porn but that would be a pawn!!
