If this had been found out later and Qld had won the game, the result would be declared null & void. IMO, the onus is on each state to ensure eligibility criteria are met. In this case, the QRL has been negligent in its duties.

I feel for young Mulitalo. Maybe the criteria can be negotiated after this incident and the age threshold increased to 14.

Qld was the centre of the rugby league universe only a couple of years ago but they dont support losers well. There are a few players in this Qld side who would have been lucky to get an City or Country jumper back when that was a game if they were from NSW, let alone getting an Origin jumper.
