Not much , but I’m not blind to seeing that the QLD forward pack are a class above NSW.

And based on that their halves will dominate.

NSW lost their one home ground advantage , traditionally away games favour QLD with support and Suncorp will be a bloodbath.

So no , haven’t gone to the dark side , but not blind to the position the Blues are in.

I doubt it was a set play. I think he just saw a yawning gap and ran through it. Even if we were held in the scrum a little, so many of our players over chased thinking it was going wide and left a huge whole - including Teddy.

Originally I saw it as that, just an opportunistic play, with DCE taking an advantage of the gap.
After re watching there was a look of expectation from DCE and with Slater as coach it wouldn't surprise me it was set.

I have no problem with it though, we didn't play to the ball

I completely agree re your point about choosing between Matto and Ola. However, that aside... how stupid and unaware do you have to be to carry on in the media in any way that could be perceived as smug or arrogant? I always thought highly of Brandy as a commentator, but he really lost some points with me today on that little display. Keep your mouth shut, stay humble and respectful... you know it will come back to bite him eventually.

Freddy has made some big mistakes with his selections. How he didn’t pick JAC or turbo and show some loyalty is outrageous. Both had utter blinders this weekend. Both should be back in there for the second game - end of story.
