Jake needs to retire. He cost us dearly in the first half. He isn't up to the pace of the game anymore.

He's the best of the brothers at the moment.

What seems crazy is that all us punters can see the same thing yet it feels like the coach and recruitment turned a blind eye all year. Garrick is a great winger. He should have been moved back there after about 6 games when we all saw it not working. We were u lucky with lodges injury as I rate him as blue chip prop when fit. I feel like you can cover one or two of these issues but all together it’s a perfect storm.

Well we beat all three of the top teams this year but couldn’t do **** when it was away from Brookvale. Lends in to the team’s poor attitude and that if the slightest of things are against them they won’t show up for the occasion.

Plenty to learn for next year, whether Seibold is the guy to take them to the next level we won’t know but we have a few more years to find out.

Now an off season where our style of play needs to be examined. Love em both but we just can't expect to use or rely upon Jake and Frog the same way next year.

We looked at our best this year with Simpkins at hooker and with a smaller faster bench.

We absolutely will need an injection of speed into that pack come next year.

And agree Our game style needs a complete review over the off season.

If we go with croker at 9 Ruben at centre next year we are in trouble

Unfortunately I think Tom and Jake are going to join hindmarsh in the "club legends that could never win a gf" club...
I just don't see how it happens... Tom seems to be held together by sticky tape, dce is what, 47 next season??? Jake hasn't broken the line with a run since 2017, and we're just... Average... As a footy team, manly can come 7th or 12th any given season... Just plain average... And I don't see it changing anytime soon..

Disappointed with tonight but the boys had a great season... Well earned off season ahead

We are still one major injury away next year from.being a plain average side.

I just don't see like you said Jake and turbo getting anywhere near a GF Let alone winning one we just don't have the right mix of squad.

They are wonderful people but they will end up like Hindu without a title.

2024 we have a better roster than both those years but very little structure or internal strength. Comes form the top and our top is rotten. Imagine a Todd payton or ciraldo with this roster.

So obvious Crocker and Garrick are so far of first grade material. Starting to think Seibold 3 year extension should have been one more on top of 2025.
Aloio absolute rubbish.
I would think Sipley will get picked up elsewhere in 2025.

We are actually not that far off the pace, IMO. However, I’m not convinced we have the clarity of insight to know those few crucial tweaks that are needed to rise. Next season will be extremely telling in this regard, and we will have some answers right off the bat just from recruitment and positional choices… IMO.

I think we peaked a little early this year. If you look at the last 5 games we were beaten by the tigers, beat the dogs, we’re flogged by the sharks at home, beat the dogs and again well beaten tonight by a depleted roosters. We were well beaten in most of these games in the ruck. This needs to be addressed in the off season….

When Roosters can replace Brandon Smith with Connor Watson, then you can see how far off the mark we are. We don’t have 1 decent 9 in the club, let alone missing fit fast forwards.
Unfortunately the comp is geared to Penrith, Storm and Roosters, and we won’t compete unless we get an owner with deep pockets.
First live game I’ve been to, and also underline how much referee can favour one team, even if they were better than us.

Yeah ref was annoying. Every time we scored a try it went upstairs as no try, and when the Roosters scored he could not blow try fast enough.

But anyway there are major deficiencies, particularly in the forward. They won the ruck in the middle all night, and scored right down the middle. This was my first live game and I was nice and up high and you could see it clear as day.

If I was being positive I would say we have a cracking backline outside of Garrick who I hear played with.a busted shoulder. With a decent go forward forward pack that plays as a team this is a really good backline. Chez, Brooks, Lehi, Talau were all great and Burbo did a fine job and with Koula back and Saab back we have something.

It’s just an ordinary forward pack we need to upgrade.
